Re: High Powered Super-heroes It varies. I've seen a 250 point character capable of flattening Dr. Destroyer in a single phase (his 4e, high-end version), so that's definitely a 'high powered' character, despite not having scads of points. Typically, when a new character enters a group, I give him XP equal to half the amount that the most-experienced character has. Generally enough that the character still feels 'new', but so left-behind that he's gimped.

Re: The cranky thread Extremely minor, really negligible thing, but for some reason, it's sticking in my craw. There is no such thing as 'more unique'. Unique means 'one of a kind'. It is a binary state, something is either unique or it is not. There can be no comparative for superlative forms for the adjective 'unique'.

Re: The cranky thread Sanitation issues, mostly. Peritonitis is very nasty, and very painful, so I'll need to keep my various bits of tubing and such as clean and sanitized as physically possible. Free-floating cat hair, tracking kitty litter, stuff like that could be an issue.
