Re: How much should strength cost? Strength should cost 1 point per point. I've never observed it to be a problem. And no, there's nothing wrong with campaign maxima. HERO's flexibility makes it the most breakable game on the market. There's no way to balance it other than the GM's say-so.

Re: Michael's Mook-Mashing Concept At that point, I'd just grab a rule from Fantasy Hero and designate targets as 'one-hit KO', 'two-hit KO' and the like and skip the numbers. Not unlike D&D's Minion rule which just gives them 1 Hit Point.

Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat Half the chemicals I smell every other day at the dialysis clinic. The disinfectant stuff (I think it's called Betadyne) they put on my arm before they stick me positively REEKS, in addition to being this ugly yellow-brown color.

He's a great guy and always ready to answer a question about the show. It's just a 'squee' moment. "I'm trading posts with the creator of one of my favorite shows! SQUEEEE!"

Re: END to END Reserve Attack I'm not real up on Adjustment powers, but wouldn't Transfer: END to ENDReserve, only to restore to starting values work as well? For some reason, I'm thinking the 'only to restore to starting value' means it doesn't fade over time, since you can't boost yourself above where you started. I might be stuck in 4th-Land, though.

Re: Would you allow the white knight defense? It's a little higher than my usual defensive caps ... but with so many points tied up in defense and so little offense or movement, most bad guys can just walk away from him/her.
