  1. I'm waiting to see if I can switch shifts. Brian has been talking about leaving. I already told Todd I would switch to days. Things are cooling down. I think Dan was being enabled and his enabler has been off the last two days, so he has slowed down on his behavior. CES
  2. The story linked on the other thread stated that the Rittenhouse prosecutors may have engaged in misconduct. It kind of reminds me of police trials where the DAs involved are accused of throwing the cases so the policemen involved are allowed to walk away CES
  3. Watched the new Ghostbusters. it was pretty good. I only saw two things that were either glossed over, or not mentioned. The major thing was how did Egon get the money to move out of NY. It was just presented as something he did, but not how he did it. It wasn't enough to spoil anything else but it would have been nice to have some kind of explanation like Louis was able to get him money through the government. CES
  4. It's informal rules stuff, Hermit. Something my coworker knows he is violating. He confronted me over breaking the rules. I was like what about all this? I don't know what you're talking about. You don't know that you have been stealing runs for seven months? I'm faster than you, that's all. You malinger. No, Dan. You're a thief. Apparently, he feels that I stop at the local gas station after every run even when we're trading places so that makes it okay to steal runs. It's not enough to get him fired, but it's nothing new either. He's been a thief forever. CES
  5. This is the first time I have looked at this thread. I'm sorry about the health problems going around. The fact that I want to kill someone at work for being a crooked piece of crap seems petty compared to that. CES
  6. I find it odd that a man who kissed Trump's butt so hard would even try to say anything like this. That's like Lyndsey Graham saying he stayed the course, or Rand Paul saying his neighbor loves him. CES
  7. The thing about Columbo is that most of his murders are locked rooms. Death in Paradise and a couple of other shows do the same thing, it's just you know who the villain is, and so does the detective. CES
  8. Columbo night and two more episodes down as Columbo matches wits with a general who romances the witness to his murder, and an art critic trying to frame his aunt for his uncle's murder. Ross Martin played the art critic, and he was great at the end when he realized that he had framed himself. CES
  9. How many deaths have been attributed to the vaccines worldwide? My coworker is scared because her cousin had to go on a ventilator. She is saying thousands of people have died. She must be talking worldwide, right? CES
  10. Two more Columbos as Jack Kennedy and Robert Culp play the murderers. Jack Kennedy's character has made sure that his blackmailer is dead returns to find Columbo looking in his cabin windows. I was like he's home. Here's Columbo. CES
  11. I am the only one at my job that got vaccinated. Everyone else is enraged that the government is trying to tell them what to do. I find it weird since we are delivery drivers and the government tells us what to do all the time. Things are made worst because they are mostly Trump guys CES
  12. I still remember the dentist who made millions off charging the government and insurance companies for every unnecessary thing he could. Someone finally got wind because they started asking him how he could afford a house in the Hamptons. CES
  13. She's probably going to be in the Marvels movie when it comes out. I have to admit when I hear that title I think of Busiek/Ross's Marvels but I guess this will be more of an avengers style team movie instead of a trip through space and time CES
  14. My son got the complete Columbo collection. We watched Prescription for Murder and Ransom for a Dead Man. If only Gene Barry had said I loved that girl with all my heart and not accidents can be arranged with the right forethought. CES
  15. Makkari is also the basis for the golden age Hurricane and Mercury and was on Bloodstone's monster hunter team CES
  16. And the first trailers didn't help because it paints the characters as just standing around and doing nothing. The trailers should have focused more on the secret war going on. CES
  17. The founding of Star Command? CES
  18. One of John Wayne Gacy's unidentified victims has finally been identified and from here in NC CES
  19. They should have went with Ikaris setting the monster on fire in the first trailer. The two trailers before that, one was too passive, and the other made it look like the Eternals were fighting amongst themselves. Setting a monster on fire is a better attention getter in my opinion CES
  20. it's like going in and thinking you are getting Judge Wapner, but getting Judge Judy instead CES
  21. I don't think so. I think we lost more members to the new edition stuff that was going on like Bill Keyes, and Ghost Angel. And some of us just died. CES
  22. I think he was talking about Kupperberg's version who wound up blowing himself up CES
