On a personal level, playing fantasy, whether D&D, DragonQuest, whatever, the gods are never villains. They may be motivators and influences, by they are by no means villains.

Wolverine has papers indicating he has been implanted with metal. Similar to someone with a pin or plate that would register in the metal detector.

Knocking everyone around prone is a bonus. I've never been able to rationalize excessive damage just from falling down. Falling from a great height, yes. Just falling down, no.

Yes, but if I recall correctly, Quicksilver fluctuated between being able to run up the side of a building and not being able to run up the side of a building.
All depended on who was doing the writing and the needs of the story.

Images, at best, I've always painted as "free-standing holograms". Full 3-D. I've always seen it stemming from the likes of Illusionist spells.
