  1. Re: The One, True Son of Krypton No matter what you do, or how you try to do it, you'll have dissenters because "you got it wrong!"
  2. Re: Attractiveness - Comeliness Vs. Striking Appearance Yeah, if the hero kisses the hot chick before the end, she usually dies.
  3. Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Or "Jonny Granathan Goldsmith".

Re: Year One They really didn't. Kara could fly. She was under the lake for about 15 years. That's why I think she could fly before she got to Earth.

Re: Year One I'm thinking she was able to fly before Zor-El stuck her in her ship, like the rest of the Kryptonians.
  6. Re: You Don't Have to be Crazy to be a Superhero, but it Helps! "Archie Magoo"?

Re: Year One Apparently the flying thing on Smallville was a confidence thing with Clark.

Re: Year One I'd have to re-watch. I'm mid-s6 right now.
  9. Re: Gadgeteer vs. Powered Armor vs. Weaponmaster Iron Man, no. Inventor, but his armor doesn't radically change. Batman, no. Green Arrow developed his own tricks. Hawkeye's trick arrows were designed by Stark. The only true gadgeteer that comes to my mind is Gizmo from DC's Fearsome Five.
  10. Re: The Good and Bad about Marvel and DC Yeah. Austin was the perfect inker for Byrne. That was back when Claremont was a strong writer.

Re: Year One I call shenanigans. He flew in the barn facing Darkseid. Then he flew to the fortress to get the suit before flying off to deal with Apokolips.
  12. Re: The Good and Bad about Marvel and DC First one is a lot more coherent than the second.
  13. Re: Rogues...and Soldiers...and Assassins...and...Gallery (Dark Champions Art)
  14. Re: Magic and END cost? MSH did similar. Personal energy, otherworldly source, and universal energy. Personally I use a mixture of all three. Depending on the character and the character's concept defines what sources they can tap.
  15. Re: Attractiveness - Comeliness Vs. Striking Appearance 5th author was Steve.
  16. Re: Gods with Off Switches vs. Loaded Guns. DC vs. Marvel in Character Design. Obviously enough people thought otherwise that a separate thread was created.
  17. Re: The One, True Son of Krypton Zod was a soldier.
  18. Re: Attractiveness - Comeliness Vs. Striking Appearance 'tis but a scratch
  19. Re: The One, True Son of Krypton Reboots invalidate all that has come before.
  20. Re: The One, True Son of Krypton Works for me
  21. Re: Attractiveness - Comeliness Vs. Striking Appearance Obviously though those words opened a floodgate of ideas. When the "rules" for a game are actually only "guidelines", is that so terrible?
