  1. Re: Why Your Heroes Shouldn't Kill Frank Castle co-exists in the same U as Spider-Man, Captain America, Fantastic Four.
  2. Re: Team Building That was my take. One mission allowed for missiles to be mounted on hard points. After that mission several of the players complained that they didn't have them all the time.
  3. Re: Team Building The group that I ran before, the base and vehicle were paid for mainly through corporate donations. The vehicle was mainly a plot device to get them from *here* to *there*.
  4. Re: You Don't Have to be Crazy to be a Superhero, but it Helps! I've had characters have commentary directed at them, sometimes as a dressing down from a church lady about dressing less provocatively. Usually it's a comedic moment type of thing.
  5. Re: Are Thanos and Darkseid the Same Person? Yeah, but he got Black Canary in the trade. Bruce isn't big on stable, healthy relationships.
  6. Re: Why Don't The Villains Kill? Loki, Deadpool and who?

  8. Re: Why Don't The Villains Kill? Yes, but how many villains know they live in a comic book reality?
  9. Re: Why Don't The Villains Kill? Who has the power to raise the dead?
  10. Re: "Neat" Pictures http://allsizewallpapers.blogspot.com/2012/06/tiger-hug-digital-art-wallpaper.html Heard it was part of an ad campaign.
  11. Re: Limit to HTH weapon power damage? 5thR p185
  12. Re: You Don't Have to be Crazy to be a Superhero, but it Helps! Your basic argument is flawed. Black Widow is known because she's an Avenger and former partner of Daredevil.
  13. Re: Gods with Off Switches vs. Loaded Guns. DC vs. Marvel in Character Design. Don't recall speaking directly of Lois in that post.
  14. Re: Gods with Off Switches vs. Loaded Guns. DC vs. Marvel in Character Design. Ah, but you see Lois had a comic book at one time. That puts her in PC territory, the same as Superman. The same with Jimmy Olsen.
  15. Re: Gods with Off Switches vs. Loaded Guns. DC vs. Marvel in Character Design. All depends on how you define "non-standard". If a GM does a character which amounts to "Blonde, blue-eyed female. COM 20. PS: Actress", is that "wrong"?
  16. Re: Gods with Off Switches vs. Loaded Guns. DC vs. Marvel in Character Design. In my game however I choose to build them IS "the right way".
  17. Re: Why Don't The Villains Kill? The villains that resort to lethal force tend to get relegated to mental institutions instead of prisons.
  18. Re: Gods with Off Switches vs. Loaded Guns. DC vs. Marvel in Character Design. I don't. I write each as a stand-alone character. Doesn't matter what their place is.
  19. Re: Gods with Off Switches vs. Loaded Guns. DC vs. Marvel in Character Design. And you're metagaming it. Try writing each as a character without worrying about whether or not it is a PC or an NPC.
  20. Re: Would you allow this? I let the players build their characters, read over the sheet and the back story (if any), ask questions and make commentary. Then, based on that, the player is free to make adjustments.
  21. Re: Gods with Off Switches vs. Loaded Guns. DC vs. Marvel in Character Design. Build Batman at a time when Robin was his partner. More than likely, you'll have Robin as a Follower. Batman also needs to be reflected on Robin's writeup as, at least, a Contact. And you would have a Contact more than willing to do more than just offer advice if Robin needs it. Lois and Superman are very much in the same situation.
