  1. Technically Superman is an illegal alien. Would you like to deport him?
  2. If you want to follow that thought then Marilyn Manson would have been a better choice. People look at him funny all the time.
  3. I don't think anyone ever looked at David Bowie funny because of his eyes.
  4. There's more to Fate than the helmet. Kent Nelson is an accomplished sorcerer without it.
  5. The Lone Ranger will make money the first weekend off the Depp fans alone.
  6. Direct orders can be returned. Returns are solicited by Diamond. From what I recall the window was narrow and a lot depended on title.
  7. Yes. Someone has.Thia Halmades.
  8. The whole point behind Dr. Manhattan was that he was slowly, over the years, losing touch with humanity. Kind of like these shows that show characters that don't have a soul as monsters. Why should he care about his reputation where ants are concerned? By the end of the story the only human that he might have retained any feelings for was Laurie.
  9. 5th Revised Heroic Action Points
  10. Exactly. Highly trained with toys.
  11. Ah, right, that all makes sense, and also explains why Rorschach's STR score was a little higher than I might've expected as well. (Could he lift a motorcycle? Maybe. But I always envisioned him as small, wiry, agile, ruthless, and resourceful (as reflected very well in your excellent write up); but not necessarily all that strong - especially by super hero standards.) Reducing some of those characteristic scores and adding a few more complications/disadvantages might allow Rorschach to be built with considerably fewer points, which might reflect elegantly his 'troubled' childhood and background, and diminutive stature. The stats are great, Cassandra. If you have time, please post more. Comedian might actually have been stronger than Ozymandias. Veidt was faster. For all of Blake's training and experience he never hit Veidt.
  12. That presupposes that he actually cared enough to do so.
  13. Just because your opponent does something that you didn't expect does not mean that you're surprised. And under no circumstances would I ever class Black Widow as a speedster.

"Bleh." Without taking her eyes off the third floor window, Hellfire asked, "Something wrong, Captain?" "Nah. Just that my coffee has gone lukewarm," he said with a smile. Hellfire turned her gaze to his coffee cup. Her eyes burned and he yelped in surprise, shifting the cup to his other hand and blowing on his fingers. "Sorry about the fingers, Captain. Your coffee should be hot enough now," she added to the apology with a grin.

  16. There are some posts of mine that I'd like to fiddle with. "Edit" isn't always an option.
  17. Going by Taskmaster's first appearance in the Avengers, minions and henchmen are preferred to be of below average intellect.
  18. "Luke, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view."
  19. Gas doesn't burn, Tasha. The fumes explode. http://www.myfoxdetroit.com/story/19317652/2012/08/20/siblings-die-in-graduation-party-bonfire-explosion
  20. If I recall right, doubling the amount only adds one damage class.
  21. You've got it right. As for the door situation, apply common sense and cinematic sense, in the order that you prefer for the results that you want.
