  1. One of the projects I have in line is to do conversions for all the DC/Marvel characters that I have access to from the old games.
  2. Batman is an Olympic-class athlete. That includes weight lifting. Not incidentally, it is the STR he would have on a conversion from the Mayfair DC Heroes game. The same conversion, iirc, gives the Joker a 30 STR. The joys of insanity. Captain America is more than just human. I've never agreed that "maximum human potential" is the same as "maximum currently possible", which is about where NCM defaults in my mind. Rogers has scaled a wall carrying his motorcycle in one hand. You want to refer to the current MCU, you've got him lifting a motorcycle with three dancing girls sitting on it. The trailer for AoU shows him dismounting from his bike and throwing it without suffering from the force of momentum of movement when he lands on his feet. Also not incidentally, 35 is within the range of numbers when you convert his MSHRPG (FASERIP) stats to Hero. Basically, those numbers feel right to me for those characters.
  3. It does a lot more than just "make the math a little easier". Carrying your Rogues Gallery on a flash drive is a lot easier than hauling notebooks around.
  4. Personally, I'd put Bats at 25 and Cap at 35.
  5. Depends on whether you think the accent is on "maximum human" or "potential".
  6. Doesn't the 4, 5, or 6 (which equates to your two 3's and a 2) only apply in Killing Attacks, with standard attacks only applying 1 Body on a 3 (or a 5 or 6)?
  7. Captain America/Steve Rogers is not normal, thus the NCM should not apply.
  8. They were kind of the heart of the Black Powder Rebels.
  9. A socialite is mainly High Society and Wealth or the appearance of having it.
  10. It disturbs you, that, in his game, the GM can tell you "no"?
  11. Sorry. The only one you can honestly ask that "why" of is Steve Long. And his answer will be something akin to, "Sorry, but I don't answer game design philosophy questions".
  12. Since your question is "why", the answer is obviously, "because".
  13. Missed the chance to see him at Genghis Con in Feb.
  14. For the same reason my writing goes into this forum.
  15. What songs might a bride sing to the groom on/at their wedding?
  16. Powers? Scale mail armor and a long stabby thing.
  17. Rod Serling? "A pleasant faced man steps up to greet you He smiles and says he's pleased to meet you Beneath his hat the strangeness lies Take it off, he's got three eyes Truth is false and logic lost Now the fourth dimension is crossed..."
  18. You're lucky. Most people in cells don't have access to the internet.
