  1. Not in the way that the 4e writers intended, apparently. NWO is based off the CoH engine.
  2. 4e was an MMO that never got around to the computer.
  3. Well, having stuff in the dumpster helps cushion her landing.

  7. I was lost till you were found But I never knew how far down I was falling Before I reached the bottom I was cold and you were fire And I never knew how the pyre Could be burning On the edge of the ice field And now the chilly Californian wind Is blowing down our bodies again And we're sinking deeper and deeper In the chilly Californian sand Oh I know you belong inside my aching heart And can't you see my faded Levis bursting apart And don't you here me crying 'Oh Babe, don't go' And don't you hear me screaming 'How was I to know' I'm in the middle of nowhere Near the end of the line But there's a border to somewhere waiting And there's a tankful of time Oh give me just another moment To see the light of the day And take me to another land Where I don't have to stay And I'm gonna need somebody To make me feel like you do And I will receive somebody With open arms, open eyes Open up the sky and let the planet That I love shine through For crying out loud You know I love you I was damned and you were saved And I never knew how enslaved I was kneeling In the chains of my master I could laugh but you could cry And I never knew just how high I was flying Ah with you right above me And now the chilly Californian wind Is blowing down our bodies again And we're sinking deeper and deeper In the chilly Californian sand Oh I know you belong inside my aching heart And can't you see my faded Levis bursting apart And don't you here me crying 'Oh Babe, don't go' And don't you hear me screaming 'How was I to know' I'm in the middle of nowhere Near the end of the line But there's a border to somewhere waiting And there's a tankful of time Oh give me just another moment To see the light of the day And take me to another land Where I don't have to stay And I'm gonna need somebody To make me feel like you do And I will receive somebody With open arms, open eyes Open up the sky and let the planet That I love shine through For crying out loud You know I love you For taking in the rain when I'm feeling so dry For giving me the answers when I'm asking you why My oh my, for that I thank you For taking in the sun when I'm feeling so cold For giving me a child when my body is old Don't you know for that I need you For coming to my room when you know I'm alone For finding me a highway and for driving me home For that I serve you For pulling me away when I'm starting to fall For revving me up when I'm starting to stall And all in all for that I want you For taking and for giving and for playing the game For praying for my future in the days that remain Oh Lord for that I hold you Ah but most of all For crying out loud For that I love you When you're crying out loud You know I love you
  8. Alignment is a good start as to where the character begins and characterization takes care of the rest.
  9. Every night I have the same old dream 'bout you and me and what's in between So many changes, so many lies Try to run, try to hick From everything that I feel inside But I can't escape you, or your frozen eyes... Searching in the darkness Fading out of sight Love was here and gone like a thief in the night... Stone Cold... And I knew you so well Stone Cold Can't break away from your spell Another dark and empty night It was wrong I wanna make it night But you are so distant, so far away Your words like ice fall on the ground breaking the silence without a sound Oh familiar strangers, with nothing to say Searching in the darkness Fading out of sight Love was here and gone like a thief in the night Stone Cold... And I thought I knew you so well... Stone Cold... I can't break away from your spell... You leave me Stone Cold Searching in the darkness Fading out of sight Love was here and like a thief in the night Stone Cold... And I thought I knew you so well You Stone Cold... yeah I can't break away from your spell You Stone Cold... baby I thought I knew you so well You're Stone cold... Ice cold... Can't break away from your spell (You put me in the deep freeze) (Oh baby don't you leave me) (Stone... Cold, your leavin' me cold) Stone Cold... I thought I knew you so well Stone Cold... Can't break away from your spell

“Go away.” “I recall saying that to someone. A lot. And she didn't go away.” “I gave you your space when you needed it.” “Is that what this is? You needing your space? Because if it is, I can always go back to California. And I will take Mr. Fluffy with me.” Dani shot an annoyed glance at Trese and tried not to smile. “Mr. Fluffy is mine.” “Maybe, but he looks better on my bed.” Trese slipped her arms around Dani's waist and rested her chin on the blonde's shoulder. She couldn't miss the tension or the trembling. Dani pulled the blanket that was hanging around her shoulders like a shawl, a little closer. “Want to talk about it?” “I could have burned you.” “You didn't.” “But I could have.” “You didn't. You wouldn't, Dani. I know you.” Dani leaned her head against Trese's.

“Whiskey. Neat.” After a moment's pause he added, “Make it a double.” The bartender passed a filled glass and napkin across. Reaching for it he noticed the shaking of his own hand. “Nerves,” he muttered, making a fist and willing himself to calm. “Are you a friend of the bride or the groom?” “Neither actually. Haven't met either one.” He lifted the glass and took a drink. “Stephen, what are you doing here!?” “Getting a drink, obviously. And making sure I haven't messed my pants.” Turning to the woman and seeing how she was dressed, he said, “Adalene Masters, you look positively feminine.” “After all these years knowing me and now you realize I'm a woman?” Stephen shrugged. “Why are you here?” “I am here because I was asked to keep an eye on things.” “Asked by who?” Stephen set his empty glass on the bar. “Can't tell you. Don't give me that look, Spellbinder. You know how things work. I was asked to keep an eye on things in the event that something untoward happened.” Adalene crossed her arms. “So why are you in here instead of out keeping an eye on things?” she asked with a raised brow. “Because something untoward came walking up the lane!” he said in a harsh manner.
