Thanks to everyone for their entries. The winner is @Michael Struck

Grenadier sold an "invisible stalker figure" that was a lead base with clawed footprints sculpted in, although IIRC it was part of a set of comedy figures like a dead wererat in giant mousetrap and a "half elf" that had been bisected vertically, leaving just one side of the poor guy standing there on his one remaining leg.
Many years later GW cribbed the same trick for Frodo with the Ring on, although they also did him as a clear resin fig.

Negative Man
This member of the group can be a show stopper as he stops fights before they even start by saying 'No'. 'Just no'. 'Are you even thinking about what you are doing ? It's wrong. We are not doing this'
It is a form of mind control or transformation in that it stops people in their tracks as they do not want to fight for no good reason. (if, for example, someone is trying to commit murder then that is a good reason to fight).
Allegedly he got his superpowers during a debate when someone was trying to sway the masses present (and was succeeding) in following a horrible course of action. Common sense would seem to say that you should have just said 'No' to the proposition and shut it down before it started to take root. And that is just what happened.

In some settings, a FTL drive would be about the ultimate prize.

Who do you think created and have the bomb planted? Part of the "for short" profile does contain Mr. Glass from Unbreakable/Split/Glass trinity of movies. Mr. Glass of course is obsessed with finding superbeings in real life by creating 'accidents' and 'disasters'. Sounds familiar? The Chief from the Doom Patrol is a heroic-ish version of the idea.
As for him running a Dating Service, he could be finding a woman or somebody who would understand his theory about misery and evolution and power gain. He must of rented a resteraunt for a huge speed dating event (perfect place to get lots of victims together for the bomb to target).
Well, his power profile includes Variable Special Effects and Variable Advantages. But not Variable Power Pool.
Eskimo Nell? Have to look that up. Is the character SFW?
Just looked it up. The character is defently NSFW.

Discharge is the team energy blaster who can shoot various blasts from his, ahem, neather reagen. Discharge gained his powers when an energy bomb exploded during a date.
Discharge must wear a special codpiece to contain the various energies within his...nether reagents. He still dates, trying to find a woman who could survive sex with him (as he can't actually produce um...let's not go forward with this thought...)
This is basically Codpiece.

I wonder what one would use for Elemental miniatures? Earth is easiest. Water might require some sort of gelatin base. Air is tricky, but it has got nothing on Fire.

I have heard of crafters using dental stone for crafting. It's supposed to be lighter and stronger than Plaster of Paris.

Yeah, a lot of minis gamers tend to spend time at stores considering whether they could make something interesting enough out of the packaging to justify the purchase of something they don't really need/want. I must have seen a hundred Bubble Tape containers repurposed as Hoth shield generators over the years. Hoarding can be a bit of an issue with that branch of the hobby.

Rich McGee reacted to Old Man in Wizards of the Coast Announces One D&D
It is beyond obvious at this point that Hasbro is desperately trying to bring microtransactions to D&D and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. (It's almost hard to blame them when you see that a single sparkly horse in WoW made tens of millions of dollars.) The only question is whether they'll destroy the fanbase first or not.

The Masquerade: Typical "five-man band" super team with a mix of power sets and distinctly different looks, but they have an ace in the hole. All of them have secondary powers (illusions, limited shapeshifting, etc.) that let them easily imitate each other and/or their current enemies at the drop of a hat, plus a telepathic link that keeps their impersonations coordinated to avoid friendly fire. If you figure out who's who they'll be at a bit of a disadvantage in terms of raw power, but they've practiced their tricks enough that it isn't easy keep track for long.

In all probability, The Pit has been walled off from the golf course. Of course, a stray golf ball might land in it.

Rich McGee reacted to Steve in How does "Life Support: Doesn't Breathe" work when it costs END?
That’s three minutes of being at full fighting response time with the ability to take recoveries. SPD can be dropped if not doing anything, so that could be quite a long time holding a breath.

Al-Rukhkh, "The Roc", is an Azerbaijani hero/villain who grows to over 10 meters tall, has incredible strength, a considerable number of enhanced senses, and flight (though the powers are not from the costume, which neither has nor conveys any power).
Given Azerbaijan's high levels of corruption, violence, repression, etc., the government considers al-Rukhkh a criminal because he fights for justice and freedom. Most people have the opposite opinion of them, of course.
No-one has any idea what their Secret Identity is. That's because they doesn't have one - - - they has chosen to remain as "al-Rukhkh" at all times, ready at any instant to rescue, help, or protect anyone needing such, or to hinder and foil (though very rarely directly fight) the forces of oppression.
Edit: Oops, I think that's a fourth submission. Sorry.

The Gunsight Boyz: Supervillain team who are also rappers.
Any group which is, of course, created as a supervillain team can be defined also as a superhero team. Just mod the psychological complications.

Only two sessions, but it wasn't for lack of interest. Had a family health crisis and haven't managed to get back to it. If you're familiar with Chaosium's BRP game engine it feels very natural, and the setting (despite being fairly exotic from a modern POV) is much easier to explain than Glorantha (much as I like it).
There was a good series of actual play vids by the author on Youtube at one point, but I don't have them bookmarked.
