Re: How would you build... I'd build it as a NND that does body, with the SFX that the guy is actually biting off, chewing, and swallowing chunks of whatever he's "eating". Of course, the character would just about have to be bought with a bucketload of life support/immunities for the guy to feast upon sulfur without ill effects.

Re: The cranky thread Tell me about it. My last hospital stay ~3 years ago drove that point home when as one of the conditions for my release was to have an unassisted bowel movement. I had them start bringing me stool softener and fruit juices. When the time came, I was surprised at how much effort it took to pinch off a 5-pound brown trout floater (possibly not an exaggeration. It was the first ime in my life I was ever siezed by the impulse to go find witnesses to my efforts, but instead I just called the nurse so she could write it down in her log (pun welcome, but not intended). I was kind of glad to be done with the morphine when it ran out. Ibuprofen only makes my ears ring a little.
