  2. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Go Team Venture!
  3. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine If you prefer the live action Tick, here's two more. Replaced Fledermaus Replaced American Maid.
  4. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Here's some more heroes. The first is a Golden Age Heroine, but the rest are from The Tick (or at least as close an approximation as I could get). This is as close as I could get Arthur, since there is no "out of shape" template.
  5. Re: Defending the Earth: Giant Asteroid Inside himself? I'm not sure I want to know the answer, but where would he put them? I can just imagine the conversation that follows the invitation to climb aboard. "There's not enough life support in this universe to make me get in there!" Of course, if he's just a giant robot with passenger space, then in the words of Emily Lutella: "Never mind!"
  6. A powerful radio signal overpowers Earth's communications networks. The apparent source is somewhere outside our solar system. The signal gives detailed information regarding an enormous planetoid directed at the Earth by aliens hostile to our planet. If it strikes us, all life is doomed (view this visual aid to get an idea of what they're talking about). The message senders claim they are unable to interfere more directly than this, as communication with the Earth is banned by treaty. Still, they thought it was only polite to let us know even if they do get in trouble for it. The nations of the Earth gather top scientists to verify the problem, and a previously undetected asteroid 450 KM in diameter is determined to be on a collision course with Earth. The collision is 90 days away. What does your character do?

  9. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I've been listening to music videos by one of my favorite artists this evening. I thought I'd make a tribute character: Hero? Villain? Foxbat's new rival? Somebody write this guy up!
  10. Re: A Thread for Random Videos (As performed by Ray Stevens & the Sims2) Virus Alert by Weird Al Yankovic.
  11. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Picky, picky, picky. If you want it done right, then do it yourself. This horse is officially dead!
  12. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Here's one I never got to play, from a Golden Age campaign that didn't happen:
  13. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Bad Fozzie! No cookie!
  14. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine It appears that orange and blue were the usual colors for Pureheart's costume, so here's an amended version. As ever, he's really Archie Andrews
  15. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine That's the color he was at the first website I saw him on. By the time I'd finished the drawing I didn't want to have to go back through and change everything. I didn't include the "P" on his uniform because it would have obscured the clasp of his cape (and, logically, it should be on the shirt beneath the clasp anyway). This program doesn't always give us the ability to do exactly what we want, so sometimes we have to fudge a little. And in case anyone had forgotten, here's another: a.k.a.: Marmaduke "Moose" Mason

  17. CON Stunned, Stunned & STUN In the groups I played, you were "stunned" (CON +1 or more STUN in one hit), "on the ropes" (1 to 10 STUN "in the negs"), or "K-O'ed" (more than 10 negative stun). While I might not like it when someone uses a term that I refuse to under most circumstances, as long as I understand what is meant, the phrase has done its work. If I draw the conclusion that someone using the objected-to (yet apparently widely-used) term is therefore stupid for using it, that's my problem, not theirs. Actually, the only thing I don't like about 5ED is that the book is significantly larger and heavier than 4th edition. I like much of the added material, but it doesn't seem as easy to look things up as the previous edition was. Portability, folks! I hope they remember that when they publish 6ED.
