  1. That's okay, Genesis can't dance either.
  2. By giving the fanboys exactly what they've always fantasized about--which, admittedly, overlaps more than a little with Cancer's suggestion. New Topic: Subtle signs that the ghost of Frank Sinatra has grown tired of your antics.
  3. A job application to Aperture Laboratories.
  4. Why should this time be any different?
  5. What's been normal about this election, though?
  6. I woke up in a strange room I'd never seen before Weird paintings on the walls, mirrors on the ceilings I bolted for the door Looking for my Rent-a-car Was the Cordoba blue or red? Trying to remember where I put the keys Trying to remember what I said I pushed the fool button My night went haywire I pushed the full button Set my brain on fire I was sitting in the corner Of a very laid back bar A little three-piece band was playing on the stand Not knowing what lay in store In a flash, a man with a hat And a harmonica stormed the stage The crowd berserk, the band said, "What a jerk!" As he went into a blues rampage It was a fool palace Double knit on parade They pushed the fool button As the skinny boy played and played Push it Push it Push it! Trying to make a point of protecting the innocent But none of them can be found It can happen any time, happen any place It can happen in your own home town So if you don't believe my words Or think my story is true Get a bottle of rum and an eskatrol And watch the same thing happen to you We'll push the fool button I'll meet you in the bar We'll push the fool button Where everyone's a star
  7. Or was that after they blew up Alderaan?
  8. Who will be the Democratic Party's Presidential nominee in 2020?
  9. A lighted menorah. Well, you won't see it more than once, anyway. New Topic: The American Political EliteTM have decided that the Electoral College has got to go. What's replacing it as the means to determine the next President of the United States? (Difficulty: Nothing sensible like "Winner of the popular vote".)
  10. Ted, Jane's an expert in martial arts even I can't pronounce. She can kill you seven different ways without using her hands. Do what she says.
  11. I hear the drums echoing tonight But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation She's coming in, 12:30 flight The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation I stopped an old man along the way Hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancient melodies He turned to me as if to say Hurry boy, it's waiting there for you It's gonna take a lot to take me away from you There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in Africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had The wild dogs cry out in the night As they grow restless, longing for some solitary company I know that I must do what's right As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti I seek to cure what's deep inside Frightened of this thing that I've become It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in Africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in Africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
  12. "Is he dead?" "With a thing like that in his back, in the long run he's better off."
  13. Complaining that a candidate who won the popular vote didn't win the election is a little like complaining that the football team that amassed the most yards of offense didn't win the game. "Yards of offense" is an important stat, but it's not what decides the outcome of the game. What decides the outcome of the game is "Points scored". Similar and linked, yes, but not the same. Similarly, we do not now nor, to my knowledge, have we ever determined the Presidency of the United States in terms of the popular vote. It's the Electoral College vote that really matters. Always has been.
  14. Two bits, four bits, six bits, a peso. All for Zorro, stand up and say so!
  15. It's too bad she won't live! But then again, who does?
  16. I don't know, kid. I'm making this up as I go.
  17. Why do you say this to me when you know that I will kill you for it?
  18. 19. "So, to make a long story short...." "Too late!"
  20. Yeah? Take a look at your hat. That's not a candle on a cake.
