  1. I've never seen MM go desolid for more than a few seconds. Doesn't that take a lot of energy to do or something..?
  2. Superman all the way. Aside from anything else, he could probably just ask his old friend Hal to step out of the competition!
  3. Captain Marvel has always been at his weakest against psychics. The Wisdom of Solomon grants some protection, but against Rachel Summers "some" is not enough.
  4. I think I have to go with Fate here. Any being with quantifiable, physical powers is dead meat to Manhattan - but Fate is a Lord of Order and master of magic, the one thing Manhattan probably can't counter.
  5. Zeus is still King of the Gods even away from his place of power. I gotta go with the King, baby!
  6. Adam Warlock turned THANOS into a statue. Before he had his current suite of powers. Bye, Norrin...
  7. The Spectre is technically more powerful, but Jean can do things even he can't deal with.
  8. Hulk, I think. MM might be able to telepathically calm the hulk...but if that didn't work, Hulk would be even MORE enraged!
  9. Cylons. They were up against competent opposition. Klingons: TOS or TNG versions?
  10. Doc Ock. Has more depth, character and interesting story possibilities in one tentacle than Rhino does period. Red Panda vs Raccoon.
  11. Goldfinger. Auric was his own man, not a tool of others, and his plot to irradiate the Fort Knox Gold was actually valid. Blades a go-go - Sword vs Axe.
  12. Mon-El has one major advantage over Hal - psychological stability. He could get Hal to expend his power ineffectually with a few good taunts. But even if that doesn't work, Mon is tough enough to take a power-ring beating while delivering a Kryptonian one...which Hal isn't
  13. Power wise, Odin should win. Samaritan has some very unusual abilities though, and his Empyrean Web seems to have a lot more powers than he normally uses. Heck with it, I'm going with Samaritan.
  14. Yeah, powerful as the Stranger actually is, he's basically still mortal. The Spectre is not.
  15. Hulk will eventually get his hands on Binary. Game over.
  16. ST off earth? Adam owns this one. No plantlife for the lord of the green to manipulate.
  17. Zeus outside of Olympus is somewhat reduced...but not that much. Call it for Zeus.
  18. Herc technically cannot be killed (Olympians in Marvel, unlike Asgardians, are true immortals), but he can be crushed, smashed, beaten, smeared across the landscape...and Manhattan could do all of that in the blink of an eye.
  19. Got to agree. Rachel can psi-effect Atom long before he can deal with her.
  20. Titanic, because there have been at least two good films made about her. Prisoner of Zenda - 1937 or 1952 version?
  21. Spidey. He can take on anybody - DD tends to get steamrolled by supers. One for the Chemists: Chlorine Trifluoride or Dioxygen Difluoride?
  22. The Surfer is the original, all after merely copycats. Condiments! Mustard or Relish?
  23. The Operative, because he did where Early threatened Pulp Wars! Flash Gordon vs. Buck Rogers.
  24. "Attack of the Radioactive Hamsters from a Planet Near Mars" is an awesome name. Cheesy sci-fi: Time Tunnel vs Land of the Giants!
