Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game Yep. Currently Joan the Jett looks like she has her captors hostage. I had one where the hostages wound up the same as the enemy group. I did your mission with my lvl 40 Robots MM. I think I'll try out "Joan of Jett", my dark/regen scrapper next.

We call it tortitude. And our torti is pretty mellow, but she's the one cat our Lebanon thug does not mess with. Despite her 6 lb weight and his 15.

Re: Hero Philosophy - SPEED Mod Twelve, so the character has a SPD 12 & 3. It's something not be lightly done and I think at most we had two or three chars at a time with speeds like that.

Re: Hero Philosophy - SPEED I do remember once being forced to upgrade my SPD to 5 from 4 since the GM was getting tired of me and the other brick popping out for Pizza between phase 9 & 12. (We had Speeds up to 15 in the game and a large gaming group.) I also played an 11 SPD speedster in one of the other campaigns. I do agree that SPD should be referenced in how powerful the attack potential can be. Especially since often the OCVs are higher. And I'm fine with higher speeds. It allows a more gradual curve than if you have everyone 4-6.

Re: The Last Word We only get a few stations in town and as I was driving to the City Permit office today, I couldn't help but think that what was playing on the radio reminded me of why I stopped listening to the radio in the 70s. There's good stuff from every era, but you have to look for it.

Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game I didn't know that about the Storage Racks Tim. Thanks! Check out story lines by @Woebane, @Stroud, and @Lemming Woebane has three up. He's a good writer so the text is worth reading. Stroud has a Zoo adventure up. Good attention to detail. My own is "Clockwork Orange". Imo, still needs work, but the latest version isn't bad. If just for the robots wearing derbies.

Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Undertaking Betty also known as Plots with a View Strange, but entertaining. Good cast of characters including Christopher Walken. Thought it was interesting, Boris is played by Alfred Molina, who we recognized as the mayor from Chocolat. He also played Doc Ock in Spiderman 2.

Re: Pointless Hero Sam Bell did a game where we came up with the concepts and he wrote up the characters. Three different power levels and the characters were anywhere from 500 - 1200 points. Not very efficient builds, but balanced to each other. He did a few other games similar as well. It worked well.
