Re: WWYCD: "Dear Superhero" (Warning: Ugly situation) Where the Protector's Universe left off, The Protectors and one of the villain groups, The Sorority, had come to an understanding after fighting off an inter-dimensional invasion and joining the council as "co-rulers" of Earth. This is all under secrecy and not all members of each team know of this. The leader of the Protectors, Scales, would contact their leader, Sunburst and make arrangements. The Sorority would take over this country and deal with the soldiers. Naturally, this will set off a reaction with the UN and since the Protectors would be expected to deal with the situation, they would, conveniently leaving a power vacuum. Building the society back is going to be the biggest problem.

Re: What Have You Watched Recently? i watched a couple bad films while on my last work trip. Just on USA Network. Hostage & Black Dog. Hostage was a pretty typical Bruce Willis action film, though slower. Black Dog I hope was never supposed to be serious.

Re: The Emergence Of Superhumans The world I was working on started with a WWII campaign. At first, the emergence of supers was in 1942 (and a little before), but a couple of the players came up with good back stories that set things up to really start happening around 1900. Of course this was what was happening then, but there was already a lot of secret history in place as well. The campaign played thru 1944 when real life changes caused a sudden end to the campaign and the end game resulted in the USSR being neutralized. So a rather huge change there... I played around with some future results and sort of ran in a present version, but I want to go back and redo stuff. Just as a thought experiment.
