  2. Re: Bugkeeper glitch Could be a driver issue, check the CO forums to see if anyone else has the problem.
  3. Re: The cranky thread Ouch. I grew up with my mom always drawing my blood (med tech) and so I never had a problem. Plus the fact I have good veins. First time I went to give blood which was in college, the tech slipped when taking the needle out and it didn't do good things. Bruising around my arm for a couple weeks all the way thru and hurt a lot. Thankfully, I've never since had a bad experience. I think the massaging shouldn't of been bad if done correctly. Doesn't sound like it was. Which reminds me, I need to go give blood again. (Also A-) My wife donates as well, and she's O- and apparently her blood is missing some antibody so it makes it even better. She has thin veins and they roll, they always have to get someone with a bit higher of a skill.

  5. Re: Strangest Perk you've seen? I have a char like that, but it was a odd transform for what she had in her pockets
  6. Re: Character: Paksenarrion Dorthansdotter (SPOILERS!!!) Interesting. I just reread the series, been on a Elizabeth Moon kick lately. Just reread Vatta's war as well.
  7. Re: Stylish Supercomputer Nifty. And I guessed that it would be in some old building:

  9. Re: Musings on Random Musings That one really captures that evil bunneh look.
  10. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Even when I was doing the ramen diet, I still got some veggies on occasion
  11. Re: What would you build challenge Life Support, Area effect, Megascale. bulky focus that may need a period of time to crank up may work. If you don't need to worry about eating, sleeping, poison, and disease, you can maybe figure everything else out.
  12. Re: Math Thanks Doc, I was wondering what "Fear, uncertainty and doubt" had to do with the math.
  13. Re: The Last Word Good stuff that
  14. Re: The Montauk Project Sold to Greece where it was the HS Leon and after service sold for scrap.
  15. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER When I was 18-19 I used to climb up Eucalyptus to top them before we would fall the entire tree. I'm not sure how I survived that.
  16. Re: The Last Word Hope it's a minor one. I've been fighting something off for the last few weeks, think I should just give in, give it a false sense of victory, then let my immune system kick it's butt.
  17. Re: How can you make the stone age cool? To continue the description: Has several types of campaigns from Realistic to Magic Shamanism to Slapstick (like the film Caveman) Available as an ebook for $2.99! http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/books/IceAge/
  18. Re: How can you make the stone age cool? Or to continue the trend: Gurps Ice Age by Kirk Wilson Tate from 1989.
  19. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Monty Python : Life of Brian Full scene quote below:
  20. Re: So how did you guys learn the system? Started with first edition as well, so more and more got added on during the years. But making characters and playing a lot of games seemed to do the trick.
  21. Re: What If: You were the world's 1st superhuman? You may be able to bring a breathing apparatus, like Superman was doing.
  22. Re: The character should fit on one side of one sheet of paper in 12 point type If it's going to be a campaign, then time before hand is a nice thing. I always consider characters a work in progress anyway. Sometimes play will show something being unbalanced that wasn't apparent during review. For Con games, I certainly appreciate a more succinct character sheet and the same goes for GM supplied if I'm the player.
