Re: Thoughts about Vibora bay On CoH extra bits, I did buy all of them. The Mac one, the martial art one for Ninja Run, and one of the earliest ones were worth the cost. The others, not so much, but I don't feel ripped off. Respec's, I don't think you can buy them direct, but there are multiple ways of earning them including a way to craft them. (I don't know how many I have available from Veteran Awards)

Re: Converting inches to mph Inches if they are the 2 meters for an inch, the conversion is: Inches/rnd * 0.3728 = miles/hour So you could do meters/rnd * 0.1864 = miles/hour The Work: (Meters * 100) = centimeters CM/2.54 = inches Inch/12 = feet feet/5280 = miles Rnd * 5 = minute minute * 60 = hour So meters/rnd * 100/2.54/12/5280 * 5 * 60 = miles/hour And the original constant of 0.3728 was called Quant's Constant after the first player in our group to mention it.

Wrigley, a handsome FIV+ boy has taken up residence in the medical area (he's got chemo treatment for a cancer), but occasionally gets walked; He enjoys the snow that is on the ground.

Re: Free fall teleport One thing I will mention: Don't overly penalize the character while he's doing this since, I'm guessing an equivalent point expenditure for flight would be perfectly safe & boring. Make it fun, maybe have him teleport over a roof top swimming pool with some skinny dipping. Will he continue, or ogle for a bit?

Re: "Neat" Pictures I worked with some mainframes that allowed us to store almost 1.8 GB in the server room. Each 300 MB was in a washing machine sized device. I wish I had kept a couple plates from that, but they got lost in a move.

Re: Free fall teleport It's a quirky way to travel, but with the addition of his adders, it's perfectly fine. And he probably doesn't have to worry about people wanting to hitch rides. The only time velocity comes up is if he teleports to above the ground and impacts before his next teleport.

I checked out CO and decided not go thru with it since I'm fairly happy with the progress of CoX, but if I hadn't had a mental investment in CoX, I would of probably switched over because the creation portion was more custom. (That and the Hero link) I didn't like the play style at least the late Beta version. It's probably improved.
