  1. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game Currently On Exalted: Tara Watt: Reformed lvl 50 Elec/Elec Brute, member of Justice Squad Electric Kool-Aid: Illusions/Time Controller, member of Justice Squad Metal Postcard: Robots/Trick Arrow Mastermind, member of Injustice Squad Ms. Plastique: New Beam Rifle/Corrupter, member of Injustice Squad
  2. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game Ok. Stuff purchased (Beam Rifle, the six-pack of transfers, and the rocket board). Also snagged Justice Squad for the Heroes, and Injustice Squad on Redside. Transferred over my lvl 50 Elec/Elec Brute Tara Watt (hero now) and my Robot/Arrows Mastermind villain, Metal Postcard.
  3. Re: The Non Sequitor Thread I'll take the purple pill.
  4. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game I started a new controller called Electric Kool Aid (Ill/Time) I did snag a couple names of chars I'll be transferring over. Tara Watt and Ice Pirate. And I'll snag a name for a placeholder since I do want to start a Street Justice Brute later. Not sure on the secondary yet though.
  5. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game Well, I just throw a certain one on every server I'm on.
  6. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game I'll be putting a couple super groups together on Exalted, once I have a couple post 10s.
  7. Re: The cranky thread I got stung by a yellow jacket on Tuesday, I'm guessing he got caught between my camera strap and arm and lashed out. Thankfully I don't react much though the sting spot still itches today. I've probably been stung ~1000 times by them by now. Most during my childhood. Yesterday went up to Zion Canyon to try to get a handle on a friend dying Tuesday night from surgery complications. The weather was perfect for it. Overcast on the way in, and the rain was pouring on the way back with the side canyons full of muddy water.
  8. Re: Make Your Own Motivational Poster Torii Gate if you want the name, but yes. Many of them exist. This one is in Oregon: Torii Gate at Breitenbush
  9. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game I'm downloading the patch now. Only 3 more hours! Screwing around on the beta server for now. Have a system at issue to work on anyway.
  10. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Yea, Thought of that when I hit reply. I had a filter that looked for forwarded crap. That did go into the SPAM folder. Though it was interesting to see how many of those had a virus (and this at an anti-virus company)
  11. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game One thing I've done with my brutes while solo is to set your difficulty to three villains worth, but at -1 Level. This gives you enough enemies to ramp up your fury pretty quickly without being overwhelming. Later (late 20s, early 30s) when you get better defenses you can bring up the level to equal. And yea, Starcloud is correct, DA isn't that great, and Nullifiers suck. I enjoy hitting them with my debuff arrows from one of my masterminds.
  12. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Oh when I was talking about filters, it was filtering what work email went into what bucket. Autoreport email about some automation went one way if routine. Certain people's email were flagged (for various reasons, some ignore, some look at now) I rarely got real spam, just coworker stuff.
  13. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game VIP players are getting first crack at it tomorrow. I hope to get some time.
  14. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... And unions.
  15. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER One of my prior jobs, 200/day was the usual. Though I had some decent filters up so that I didn't have to deal with 90% of them.
  16. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game Yea, Samuraiko does good work. I'm hoping to get in later today. Just need to finish off some side projects first.
  17. Re: What are YOUR character trademark(s)? I tend to go toward skilled, though of the characters I played, they tended to have different powers, backgrounds, motivations, etc... Ice Pirate: Highly skilled Martial Artist who still has a mental block about property rights. Calico: Highly skilled martial artist who believes if Violence is not the answer, you're asking the wrong question. (Personal Redemption type) Scales: Slow moving Brick, was last working behind the scenes to set in motion a long term goal of deescalating conflict. Blazer: Musician that kept being drawn into superpowered conflicts. (Fire Blaster) "Form Blazing Guitar!" Spectrum: Moral Compass for the group. Vetali: Martial Brick, trying to redeem her family name.
  18. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Just wound up listening to a lot of Placebo just now. Started with a cover of Kate Bush's Running up that Hill and went from there
  19. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Yea, I like this version best as well.
  20. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game @Lemming on many servers. My 50s that I work on the most are on Justice & Guardian, but there's one on Champion I play occasionally. And I have at least some alts on all the US servers.
  21. Re: A Thread for Random Videos Here's something, it may be a repeat.
  22. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Someone just pointed this out to me: Scottish Pirate Metal in case you wanted yet another category for your music.
