Re: Dancing with the Heroes
Scales would make an excellent judge though.
Blazer would do better on American Idol though, though currently she's already past her popular period and doing film scores...
Re: Dancing with the Heroes
Scales, Hmm. 8'2" piece of scaly metal. Before his transformation, he was probably pretty good, now, not so good.
Ice Pirate, showmanship, agility and grace, she'd give Z'lf a run for the money.
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER
Just bought a Honda Civic Coupe LX 2007. Manual, 30 city/38 highway or so it claims. Very comfortable. And I no longer have my mom's Toyota Camry which wasn't a bad car, but it reminded me of stuff. 1995 and only 43K for miles driven.
I looked at a Nissan Versa, but the steering wheel was in my crotch. Not comfortable.
Oh, and the sales person's name: Attila. Henry Morgan was with another client.
Only clutch I ever replaced was at 90K and it had been driven hard. (Honda Accord)
Re: The cranky thread
Paranoia is setting in again. Always worries me when someone gets hired to work with me, but they get equipment that I requested for myself, but denied.
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER
The only trick I used to do was coasting down mountains such as 80 from Tahoe. (Engine idling, but gears in neutral).
Filling the tank until it overflows is just plain stupid. bad for the paint and your lungs.
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER
Most cars are like that now. ACs have gotten more efficient so that they don't take that much power to operate, but the opening of a window is like tying a parachute to your car.
One thing that I notice is that Automatic cars are now getting better gas mileage. Haven't looked into the reason behind that. Either they have gotten better, or the measurement is done differently.
Re: Who Is... Your Favorite Villain?
The two villains that wound up being used by me more than just for a one shot were Ogre & Howler.
Ogre mainly because of one of my players took him as a hunted at 14- for a character. The character could mop the floor with the book version of Ogre (high powered game). One nifty picture by Sam Bell and a bit of a power boost, instant worthwhile hunted.
Re: Musings on Random Musings
Yea, I've been burning that knowledge out of my brain everytime it comes up. Safer for my time management which has enough trouble as it is.
