  2. Re: My Elves Are Different! I think that depends on who is dying.

  4. Re: Musings on Random Musings The NGD has a tribble put aside for me...
  5. Re: The cranky thread Congrats on surviving 17 years, tkd. I know I couldn't handle that job.
  6. Re: Conan: The Current Movie in Progress..... Absolutely. Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris is a much better matchup.
  7. Re: A Game Of Questions Wouldn't that depend on whether they were in your pack or if they were actually wielded? And how much damage does a grudge do anyway?
  8. Re: Cybernetics and Bioengineering: what are YOUR limits?
  9. Re: The cranky thread Who can be lonely when we have the NGD?
  10. Re: The cranky thread As for my own cranky: no activesync. >
  11. Re: The cranky thread That almost sounds like it was done on purpose.
  12. Re: Musings on Random Musings I tried that, but made a mathematical error and wound up thinking of them as 72 six year olds. It didn't help. Probably the worst part was that I couldn't help but wonder what some of those girls are going to look like five years from now.

  14. Re: Hit Locations Generally speaking, a limb hit that does enough BODY to inflict significant STUN is probably pretty close to impairing. I sprained my ankle once playing volleyball, and that stunned the hell out of me without being even remotely life threatening. A 4 or 5 BODY wound from a sword would be altogether worse.
  15. Re: A Thread for Random Musings I am trapped in a small building with three dozen 13-year-old girls hopped up on loud music and candy.
  16. Re: Quote of the Week From My Life. "The buffet would be a lot better if it had bacon and sausage." "We're at a bar mitzvah." "Yes, you'd think the temple could have gotten the caterers to bring some meat."
  17. Re: Quote of the Week From My Life. It was. We were in the bathroom on the Bremerton ferry at the time.
  18. Re: A Thread for Random Musings For two weeks I watched the weather forecast for the trip. Without exception they predicted the same thing--clouds, rain, chill, and gloom. So we packed accordingly. Naturally when we got here We got beautiful sunny days with temps in the sixties.
  19. Re: Quote of the Week From My Life. "That's not a sink! That's not a sink!!"
  20. Re: The cranky thread Make her join the Army, and then they will laser her eyes for free. You're welcome.
  21. Re: The answer to the most important question in Space Sci-Fi Either way, a mechanism to allow holding your breath in vacuum would seem to be key. Or at least a way to bank O2 in the bloodstream.
  22. Re: A Game Of Questions Is it sheep or llamas? And why are you so obsessed with sheep?
