  1. The voices in his head? The voices in my head?
  2. Even though Teflon coated rounds are no better against bulletproof vests than non-coated ones.
  3. For PCs I'd definitely go with Suppress over Drain, primarily for cost reasons. (You can do all kinds of sick things with Suppress. ) But for NPCs, if it takes time for the effect to wear off once the victim leaves the AOE, then it's definitely a Drain.
  4. I'm away from my copy of CC so I can't actually answer the question, but I see what you're saying. I suspect there's a copy-and-paste error here. I dimly recall that in 4th ed the true form had to be the most expensive, but I thought that requirement was repealed in 5th. Hopefully someone who's sitting next to a copy of Hero 6 can answer more clearly.
  5. Gun also needs one of these foregrips: http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/05/12/survival-grips-knuckle-duster-vert-grip/
  6. And lo, he spake "dsquery user -samid [username]" in the Window of Seemdy, and the daemons of Eldap were suddenly bent to his will!
  7. Well that's stupid. How will they learn?
  8. I thought your profession was chewing bubble gum and kicking things?
  9. Huge presence attack. Seriously. Is the homo sapien female?
  10. This job is starting to make me wish I'd taken the blue pill.
  11. Sea level rise computations are pretty complicated. Local gravity, subsidence, weather, and thermal expansion all play a role. IIRC sea level is actually expected to drop around places like Greenland, where the water is cold and where there won't be a huge mass of ice to gravitationally attract water. I heard on NPR yesterday that someone had done a localized study of expected sea level rise but I can't find a reference.
  12. Which was better, or which was least bad? I couldn't stop watching. One-liner density was very high.
  13. Flipping channels and found The Running Man. What a perfect 80s action movie.
  14. Empathies. Stacie1 is limping around with what I finally determined is probably a bad O2 sensor. Not really an issue as long as I keep RPMs up, but the missing and hesitations are really annoying. New sensor is on order, but I'm not really looking forward to the replacement process, which involves getting under the car with a breaker bar. 1 My Integra, who I did not name--her name was just obvious when we met. She is old enough to vote, and next year, will also be old enough to drink.
  15. I don't remember Napoleon having regiments of Viking berserkers at his disposal. Which is too bad, really.
  16. 'Murican football does resemble unit combat though, with lines of battle and reserve forces to contain breakthroughs or flanking attempts.
  17. Depending on the level of teleport mastery, the teleporter would have good control over the range to the victim, and could always attack from behind as well. I'd pick an up-close martial art like Wing Chun, with extra nerve strikes and a general emphasis on damage over OCV or defensive maneuvers. If the teleporter can teleport with other people, then a martial grab would be a must. Someone else is going to have to name the art because I'm stuck on "Bam-fu".
  18. I envision games of soccer being played under a searing desert sun, on a pitch of partially pulverized human skeletons. Savage mobs ring the game, and armored referees carry axes instead of red cards. A muscular drummer counts the dwindling time in the game on a drum of human skin. Vultures circle overhead, waiting to feast on the fresh corpses of the losing team.
  19. Is that similar to Clobberin' Time?
  20. "It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."
