This is what happens when high school skinheads adopt the flag as a gang rag. I suspect the SCOTUS had more pressing concerns back in March. We get handed a surprising number of flags to dispose of in scouts. It's a Boy Scout thing, not a Cub Scout thing, so I haven't been involved in any actual disposals. But it's interesting to be part of the process.

The whole problem with this situation is the cop charged out of his car like he was putting down a riot. So fast that he couldn't keep his footing. And he maintained that bath-salts state of mind throughout the encounter. Why?

The tone here seems oddly hostile since I'm not sure you guys really disagree much, if at all. I'm curious as to the frequency of the incidents we're seeing. On the one hand, we have clear instances of institutionalized abuse against the population in places like Detroit and Ferguson. And I'm pretty sure we still only hear about a small fraction of police abuses. On the other hand, there must be many thousands of arrests and police interactions with citizens daily. Are incidents like the recent violent crackdown on a Texas pool party one data point in a huge plague? Or are they an outlying .00001% of police calls?

Just google "flashbang crib" for my thoughts on that one.
