  1. Charlize could make a pretty good Danvers, but like PG I'd rather see less of a name. That said, the MCU films to date have been pretty star studded.
  2. So like two of the powder grains eject the bullet from the barrel and then the rest just make a loud noise?
  3. Conversely I find that a good way to differentiate a mentalist is to limit the powers. Limit mind control to just having the target feel extremes of some emotion. Limit telepathy to requiring eye contact. Or use a non-mental special effect, like ultrasonics, pheromones, or magic. Mechanically mentalists can easily justify the use of creative non-mental powers. Drains and Suppress are really useful; Suppress INT is cheap and can be AoE and still effective, and cumulative Drain EGO is perfect for setting up a Mind Control. One thing I've always wanted to try was using something like Duplication to simulate a speedster-mentalist, whose speed of thought vastly outstrips his physical body. And you could use a mentalist to buff other party members too--consider giving a teammate an adrenaline rush, suppressing his ability to feel pain, or helping him focus on a target.
  4. Feige had conceived of the linked MCU around the time of the formation of Marvel Studios, if not earlier. The only question was whether it would even be possible--things like signing SLJ to a nine-picture deal were unprecedented, and of course everything hinged on how well the first few movies were received.
  5. They're not doing a good enough job now, so to hell with them. Seriously, what's out there that eats mosquitoes exclusively?
  6. Hope that works. I'm also pulling for genetic engineering projects that aim to virtually eradicate mosquito populations.
  7. Strike Force's killer app was that it detailed an awesome Champions campaign, and then showed how to run one just like it. And made it easy. It'd be hard to build on that but putting in updated specifics for 6th ed couldn't hurt. And of course if Mr. Allston had any more notes on his campaign background I'd love to see them as well.
  8. Not as awesome as the selfie stick I needed in order to take it.
  9. You mean like humans? I don't think there's any hope for them really. I'd start with the dolphins.
  10. Excited, but odds are they'll be more advanced than us.
  11. Looks like we'll have a pretty good lion harvest this year.
  12. I like the Lynda Carter idealistic version. I also like the badass Xena version. I don't really consider them to be the same character.
  13. It's a vicious cycle. If you look at the list of top-20 box office grosses to date, exactly three of them are not franchise movies, and one of those is only because Avatar 2 isn't out yet. You're a studio exec, do you take the 10% chance that you have the next Titanic or Frozen? Or do you greenlight Spider-Man 7 instead? Note that Iron Man and Iron Man 2 are not on that list, but Iron Man 3 is.
  14. Yeah, the spherical planet would be the first thing to go if I were to create a fantasy setting from scratch. I'd stick with something more mythological.
  15. What would be a more appropriate gait for a crocodile? A saunter? Perhaps a mosey?
