    I don't even know if that rule still stands in 6e to be honest. I still kind of default to 4th. One of the funny things about the movie was that Charlie (the cleaner) turned out to be played by David Patrick Kelly. Didn't even recognize him.

    Mainly I was thinking that he was using jiujitsu while holding (or firing, or reloading) a pistol. IIRC this requires investing the one point to add that weapon group to the MA. I see your point about bonus damage for ranged maneuvers but almost none of the maneuvers you've given Wick really come with bonus damage.

    This didn't seem to be an issue in the most recent Wolverine film. (Though I could be really, really picky and point out that a couple of the Japanese roles were played by a Chinese actor and a Korean actor, respectively.)

    The only change I would make to this excellent write up would be to add pistols to Wick's jiujitsu. He has the most impressive gun kata since Equilibrium.

    You could generate some interesting effects depending on exactly how the force field worked against different attack types. How is it with blunt attacks, or very sharp piercing attacks? What about choke holds or joint locks? Electricity? Liquids and gases? Basically if the field is weaker against any of these attack types, we would of course expect attack philosophies to seize on them.

    It occurs to me that in the late Middle Ages, when full plate was fairly commonplace, fighting styles seemed to devolve into a sort of jiu-jitsu with knives. Swords were of limited use, and were often gripped by the hilt and blade and used like quarterstaffs.

    Worse than that (from an IT perspective), they also released an astonishing amount of information about the AM network--infrastructure diagrams, admin accounts, domain information... I don't see how Am can come back from this. They'd literally have to start over with a brand new IT infrastructure.

    That's... actually not clear. It's banned in some localities, but state law overrides those bans, but even state law only permits open carry to CCW holders and then only "briefly" and in a "non threatening manner", so, who knows? Cynically, I'll bet that the definitions of "briefly" and "threatening" depend on skin color.
