Somehow, a winged hottie doing the whole "desperate stand at the bridge of Khazhad- Dum" number just doesn't have the same kind of vibe as an old wizard doing the same thing armed only with a staff. Then again, if, after she shouts "You...shall not...PASS!!!", she promptly disintegrates a large area of the street directly underneath said possessed Minuteman robot... Reminds me of the B5 episode where all the Technomages showed up on the station, and Londo was stupid enough to p*** off the head Technomage -- who promptly retaliated by having Londo's computer "possessed" by a program that not only went after his personal finances (buying shares in useless items), but played Narn opera non-stop at the same time. Talk about cruel and unusual revenge... Still, I suppose it could have been much worse. It could have played Aktuh and Maylota instead (). Major Tom 2009

Re: Cosmic Centurions THREAD ADVISORY: This is to let those that have been following this thread know that a change has to be made in one of the character backgrounds that have been posted thus far. I had forgotten when I was doing the background for Kor the Hunter a few posts back in this thread that there was already a published Champions character with the same name (in The Circle and M.E.T.E.). As this material might (or might not) be publish- ed in some form at some point in time, I'd rather not leave something in it that might lead to a copyright infringement suit. Major Tom 2009

Re: Black Falcon 3.5 About the bit where both DEMON and the IHA decide to have a confab instead of duking it out with both the authorities and a superhero: if I was a character like Black Falcon, and two groups that were after me for their own reasons suddenly decided to talk -- obviously about yours truly -- well, I don't know about you, but I would find that unexpected development worrying as hell. BTW, about the name of the one group that I had mentioned in one of my emails, I'm going to have to change it to the Iron Legion (Legio Ferrum); apparently, the word "steel" has no Latin equivalent. I suppose I should have expected that, con- sidering that there was no such thing as steel back when the Latin language was being used (more than it is now). Major Tom 2009

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine What do you do to get the belt to sit under the coat? Every time I've tried to do a design with a coat like this, the belt somehow winds up on the outside instead of under it. The same thing happens with the necktie selection. Major Tom 2009

Re: Dr Zero's Art Thread I originally saw the word in one of Tom Clancy's books (The Bear and the Dragon); the impression I got was that the word meant uncivilized or uncultured (or just downright barbaric). As for the spelling, it's possible that I left out a letter when I was typing it in; it should probably be nekulturniy. Major Tom 2009
