4. Re: A DC Animated-style heroMachine I just got the latest batch of cleaned-up pics back from The Arc, and here's the first one: Conan the Barbarian. Identifying quote: "CROM!" Major Tom 2009
5. Re: Kraessius & The Progeny These guys would make great villains in a space-based Champions campaign -- they've got a definite 'Necromonger' vibe to them. Do you have a conceptual background for them? Major Tom 2009
6. Re: Cosmic Centurions The Dark Scourge of the Stars himself, Admiral Garm: Major Tom 2009
7. Re: Cosmic Centurions Enemies of the Cosmic Centurions Admiral Garm (commander of the Obsidian Battle Group, Dark Scourge of the Stars) Lord Dark Matter's plans for galactic conquest depend largely upon his ability to bring overwhelming force to bear against those worlds selected for invasion, and even more so upon the ability of the commanders assigned to the task to carry it out. Those commanders, in turn, depend upon the skill and leadership of their immediate superior (Dark Matter has too many demands upon his time to over- see every individual operation of his master plan, so he delegates responsibility to the appropriate subordinates), and in that regard they are most fortunate to have one of Lord Dark Matter's finest officers for that task: Admiral Garm, the commander of Dark Matter's most elite space force, the Obsidian Battle Group. A member of a humanoid species with facial features resembling those of a Terran hippopotamus -- with purple skin and green eyes -- Garm has the temparment to match, and is only slighty more forgiving of failure than his master. Provided that said failure doesn't directly embarass or seriously inconvenience Dark Matter in any way, Garm usually gives the offending officer a second chance; considering some of the ways in which Lord Dark Matter has "chastised" those who have failed him in the past, there is a great deal of incentive on the part of those who have recieved such a reprieve to avoid a repeat of whatever mistake they had made. A superb strategist and tactician, Garm has never lost any space battle where he was actually present; most of the operations carried out by Dark Matter's fleets were planned by Garm, but overseen by other officers and, until the Battle of Elysia, had never failed to achieve the desired result. Admiral Garm is aided by his second-in-command, Commodore D'ahmos, a human- oid being with facial features not unlike those of a bat. D'ahmos is in charge of star- fighter operations and orbital support for ground-based forces, leaving his superior free to concentrate on more important matters. Garm commands the Obsidian Battle Group from his flagship, the Dark Herald (a dreadnought-class starship with the capabilities of an aircraft carrier). Abilities: Garm is a master of the strategies and tactics of space warfare, and has the ability to percieve the battlefield in three-dimensional terms, enabling him to deploy his forces for optimum effect. Personality: Garm is not the most patient of beings; most of the time he manages to deal with his subordinates without biting their heads off (either figuratively or literally). It's only when one of them irritates him or makes a disastrous blunder that he's at his most dangerous; it's not uncommon for him to have the worst offenders spaced -- and that's when he's in what passes for a lenient state of mind. It's only when involved with the conduct of an engagement between his forces and those of an opponent that his normal temparment is replaced with a cool, emotionless demeanor. Powers: None known. Skills: In addition to his expertise at space warfare, Admiral Garm has recieved the full training given to members of Lord Dark Matter's forces, and is an expert in both armed and unarmed combat (including zero-g combat techniques). Weapons: Garm doesn't normally carry weapons of any type, as there isn't much of a reason to do so on his flagship; only if there is a danger of it being boarded by an enemy will he carry a sidearm, usually a heavy pulse blaster (a pistol-type weapon that fires bolts of high-energy plasma). Appearance: As described in the above text, Garm has facial features reminiscent of a Terran hippopotamus, but with purple skin and green, pupiless eyes, He stands 6 feet tall and weighs 350 pounds. He wears the standard uniform of the Nth Legion, but with a circular rank badge on the left side of his chest. Major Tom 2009

9. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Here's one of the supervillain teams from Enemies of San Angelo, The Scions (sort of an evil version of the X-Men), all of whom possess psionic abilities. The members of the group are as follows: Jaunt (in the orange suit) is the group's teleporter, able to transport not only himself but the rest of the team as well. Panacea (in the blue suit), the leader of the team, is an empath and psionic healer; she can also separate her "astral self" from her body. Seer (in the red suit) is the group's telepath, and can also control the minds of others as well as attack them psychically; he is also a clairsentient, able to "see" things that aren't in the immediate vicinity. Vamp (in the violet suit) is a psionic vampire, able to drain the energy from living beings and convert it for her own use. Impulse (in the green suit) is the team's psychokinetic, able to move objects as large as a bus, shield himself from harm, and to fly in a limited fashion, all through the power of his mind. All of the Scions also possess mental shielding, providing them with protection from other mentalists. 15. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Next is the team's energy projector, Yellow Rose (she's one of the ones I couldn't recreate exactly; Fabrica doesn't have a rose symbol or a Captain Marvel-style cape): Major Tom 2009
16. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine These next pics are of the members of the New Texas Rangers, an NPC superteam which "guest starred" in Villainous Scum's Vibora Bay campaign, which he ran a few years ago. Because of the limitations of the menus in Fabrica, I couldn't exactly reproduce some of the costume designs, but I have come fairly close with most of them. First up is the leader of the team, Ranger X: Major Tom 2009
17. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Here's a pair that I thought might make good teammates for The Arc's Tierra and Fuego from several posts back. Orina and Viento: Major Tom 2009
18. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I'm not trying to be picky or anything, but shouldn't Svyatogor have Growth as well? If I'm remembering the character from the original stories correctly, Svyatogor was a giant. Major Tom 2009
19. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine The newest member of the Predators, the evil archer Sagittarius. Like DC's Green Arrow, he uses both standard arrows and special-purpose arrows. Major Tom 2009

23. Re: A DC Animated-style heroMachine Here's the one that looks like a Japanese schoolgirl, but is older than she looks. I don't know what name was finally picked for her; the last I saw, there were at least three different names being bandied about for her: Major Tom 2009
