9. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine You forgot to mention that she's also the team's "dirty tricks" specialist. Major Tom 2009
10. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine This is a character from Villainous Scum's Vibora Bay campaign that I was in a few years ago, a GM-run NPC called Boom-Boom that's been mentioned a time or two back on the QotWFMGG thread: Major Tom 2009

14. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Here's the Security Model version of the Silicon Avatars: Although constructed in humanoid form like the standard version, the Security Model differs from the standard version in that the head is more robotic-looking, with only a single sensor "eye" in a slot located where the eyes would be on a human(oid) being. 17. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Originally posted by Drhoz: Polonius: Although you can insert the blunt end, if you try hard enough. Man...your group has really been overdue for a manifestation of a Smut Field -- emphasis on the "Sm" in the first word. Major Tom 2009 "Paging Mr. Mapplethorpe! Paging Mr. Mapplethorpe!"
18. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Talk about your hot babes... Seriously, though, the Lords of Order that you've done so far are fantastic. It's going to be fun to come up with the backgrounds for them in the CC thread. I'd rep this one if I could, but the bloody machine tells me that I've got to spread rep around before I can hit you again. Somebody get him for me, would you? Major Tom 2009
19. Re: A DC Animated-style heroMachine For many years now, stories have been told of a tall, gaunt stranger who appears from out of nowhere to visit small, out-of-the-way communities -- and each of these whispered, frightening stories ends in the same way: with the eventual and total depopulation of the communities in question. Where the inhabitants of these communities have gone, no one knows. Other stories tell of dwarfish, misshapen beings who serve the Tall Man, as the mysterious figure is known as; yet other tales speak of huge, silver spheres -- spheres which are deadly killing machines, capable of dispatching their victims in a number of ways. In some of these tales, the Tall Man has been killed...only to return to spread more terror. Few indeed are those who have faced the Tall Man in battle -- and fewer still are those who have lived to speak of the encounter. Major Tom 2009
20. Re: The SHADOW Company Mechinus, like Pendax the Black Warlock, has servitors of his own who assist him in his endeavors -- in this case, artificial intelligences in android bodies which are known as Silicon Avatars. Existing in both male and female mod- els, Silicon Avatars have the ability to interface with any computer system in existence, regardless of its design or origin, and can either access any data stored within its memory banks or reprogram it simply by thinking about it. The exact number of Silicon Avatars is unknown, but it is believed that there are several hundred in existence. It is also rumored that there is a type of Silicon Avatar whose sole function is to protect Mechinus' sanctum against unwanted "guests". Shown below are examples of both the male and female models of the Silicon Avatars: Major Tom 2009
21. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... I think I saw the clip of the weapon you're talking about on YouTube. IIRC, it was a 155mm towed gun that they were calling "The Atomic Howitzer". I also think you're spot on about the Army being utterly insane, especially back then. Major Tom 2009
22. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... I've said this once before, and I'll say it again: a close-range tac-nuking is a very bad thing indeed... Major Tom 2009
