Ninja-Bear
Hello Herodom, A quick question. I was looking over Super Agents Sourcebook and it said that the Martial Art Rules would be familiar to DI players. The Martial Escape Is listed as +3 STR Roll to Escape. So is this referring to Characteristic Roll? Reason why I’m asking is a buddy suggested doing something like this instead rolling Body as we have now. Thanks in Advance! Greywind
STR vs STR roll, add Body. The defender adds 3 to his STR to roll to escape. STR 10 now has a STR 13 using the Martial Escape. Ninja-Bear and Scott Ruggels 1
rravenwood
Danger International, p.49: "When a character tries to escape from being held, use STR versus STR Rolls (see Characteristic Rolls)." So by strict RAW for DI, it's not roll-STR-damage-dice-and-compare-BODY, but rather a CHA Roll vs. CHA Roll contest. The Escape maneuver gives +3 to the martial artist's STR Roll for this STR Roll vs. STR Roll contest. Chris Goodwin and Ninja-Bear
