Crisis911
There's a concept I really like but can't figure out how to build: a character who can detach his body parts (arm, leg, head, etc) and move them around and control them separately. For example, he could make his arm detach and fly off to punch a bad guy, or he could detach an eye and fly it around to do some reconnaissance, etc. How would you build that? Steve Long
I would build that by buying the "Let Me Lend You A Hand" power on page 48 of Champions Powers, which does exactly what you want. It's built with Summon, so you have to create separate character sheets for each body part, but that's easy enough. pawsplay
randian
These seem like special effects, not powers. "Detach arm and punch bad guy at range" is a physical Blast and detaching your eye to look around is Clairsentience. Duke Bushido
Duke Bushido
And it seems that someone did Voltron a couple of decades ago using Duplication, just looking at it from the other end. Chris Goodwin

Gets sketchy if the body parts can take damage to do it that way

(OK, so I love Extra Limbs, STR only with Extra Limbs, and Stretching only with the extra limbs.....) Duke Bushido

Custom limits sketch me out a little. I haven’t used Backlash in a while. How would it work here?
Ninja-Bear
Simple Backlash means that the character could take damage from a Power that normally wouldn’t pass on the Damage. It’s mainly used on Force Wall but can be applied as needed. Crusty
