Cygnia
This HURTS. I know it's a running joke here that I'm a Rush obssessive, but I credit Peart's lyrics a LOT in saving my life when I was younger. death tribble
I am so sorry for your loss Cygnia as this one hits close to home for you. I am not a RUSH fan but if say Siouxsie or Steve Severin die I'd be devastated and I know that members of the board would offer me condolence. Hermit
My condolences, Cygnia. I've had a few songs that have kept me together at ..some pretty dark times in my own life so I can sympathize. And it's always a shame when a master musician who has brought real beauty to the world finally has to leave it. Condolences to his loved ones, family, and fans. rravenwood
Rush was a huge part of my musical life starting from when I first heard them as a young teenager... This is just devastating news. RIP Neil. "The measure of a life is a measure of love and respect" Pariah

Bazza
Have never really been a fan of Rush because I’ve only heard the occasional song, but lost the drummer to my fav band earlier this decade. Thankfully they found another and continued to perform and release new music. Do condolences to any Rush fan.

aylwin13
Rush was my first and, as of now, my last live concert. Their music has always been there with me over the last four decades. I can hear a Rush song and I remember somewhere I was or something I was doing back then. I heard this news the other day and now I just feel empty... and oh so very old. RIP Neil. Thank you for the words and the riffs. Cygnia

My last concert was R40 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena here in Las Vegas. We had floor seats, but in the section right in back of the VIP Package folks. One of the best concerts that I've ever seen. I had last seen Rush when they played the Thomas & Mack Center here in Vegas for the Roll the Bones tour, the night after we saw Spinal Tap at the Universal Amphitheater in Hollywood. Second row floor seats for , when Rush; when the spotlight hit Geddy, we were also in it. Both concerts were a lot of fun. aylwin13
Pariah
If any of you remember Lord Mhoram, he and I and our wives went to see Rush a few years ago during the Snakes & Arrows tour. It was an amazing experience. Ternaugh, Cygnia, aylwin13 and 1 other
