Cassandra
Does TF: Skating cover both Ice and Rollerskating or do you have to buy those separately? I'm thinking of building Kira from Xanadu since I'm such a Nana Visitor fan.
Greywind
What does Nana Visitor have to do with Xanadu and a role played by Olivia Newton-John?

It was a Deep Space Nine joke. No one gets my humor.

Duke Bushido
I would say it's up to you, really. How narrowly-specific do you want your skills and knowledge to be? Sure, they are a bit different in the real world, but are they different enough to justify spending the same points all over again? Personally, I'd have no problem if someone handed me a character sheet with "TF: Skating" on it. Cassandra

People probably didn't get it because Kira was the first name of the character in Xanadu … while it was the last name of Nana Visitor's character in DS9? My point was that in the case of DS9 and thinking apples-to-apples, it's actually Nerys. (Hence why the joke might have been missed.) Heh, yea, that's not a cameo I knew about until it was pointed out, afterward.

It's a same she was made up like that because she's a lovely woman. I loved her on Just The Ten of Us and The Demolitionist.

Ninja-Bear
Well considering In-line skates were developed so that Ice skaters could practice during the summer, I think TF: Skates should cover all of them.
Matt the Bruins
All of the ice hockey players I've known have been capable inline skaters and use such to practice in the off season. I'm not sure the skill translates the same way in reverse, but I've only ever been stable on the old quad skates (and have been warned away from buying inline skates by a concerned hockey player friend).
