Starlord
George Perez retiring Perez is one of my top 5 fav all-time artists (probably #3 after Kirby and Lee) and worked on some the best comic runs ever such as Teen Titans, Crisis and the early 2000s Avengers reboot. Sorry to see you go, George.
Sundog
Heck. I hope he enjoys it.
Dr. MID-Nite
All good things and all that. He's given us decades of amazing work. I think that counts for something.
Christopher R Taylor
NO He truly is one of my favorite artists, with so many great stories told and such great art. This is definitely sad news even though I do not begrudge him wanting to rest from his hard work so many years.
Cygnia
At least he's able to retire on his own terms.
Scott Ruggels
Ray Greer, said of him, while he negotiated the cover for the Champions book, that George was a very nice gut to work with. And those issues of Teen Titans were some of the few DC titles we picked up back in high school. His positive attitude will be missed. Yeah, he is one of the few I would look at a comic because he was involved. Also, did George say how the rest of him was to work with, or only discussed things with him when they ate? (sorry, couldn't resist) Christopher R Taylor
