Greywind
Apparently the villain for the sequel is Cheetah. http://deadline.com/2018/02/kristen-wiig-wonder-woman-2-cheetah-gal-gadot-patty-jenkins-villain2-1202306419/ Vanguard and Hermit
Iuz the Evil
Kristen Wiig? Huh. Interesting.
wcw43921
I would have preferred Cameron Diaz for the role. She's gorgeous enough to be Priscilla Rich, and she knows how to fight on camera. Of course they could be going with the Pérez version of the character, who shapeshifts into a half-woman, half cheetah. Personally, I think the original, who was "hypnotized" to be a supervillain by her other personality, could be quite intriguing.
Lord Liaden
After Ares, Cheetah has been Diana's foremost foe in comics, so this was to be expected. Wiig is a very competent actor, in more than comedy. I know she's not known for action, but then, neither was Gal Gadot before WW. I'm willing to trust Patty Jenkins until I see the result. Hermit
Excellent. I hope they can manage the look of the villainess. While I appreciated what they tried with Ares in the first movie, his 'final form' with mustache under the CGI helmet was a bit distracting. Small complaint for another wise excellent movie. slikmar
Thumbs up on using Cheetah (especially how they have recently portrayed her and her friendship then enmity with Diana). Not sure I like Wiig. Diaz would have been a good choice, or someone younger but similar perhaps.

Christopher R Taylor
Cameron Diaz while once really cute is really pretty much a dude these days. Wiig is a better choice.

I pointed this out to my wife, when I had her watch the original Road Warrior, before we saw Fury Road. She was totally into "more Warrior Woman please" and when I pointed out that she was also Zhaan, I think my wife swooned a little.
Old Man
I have to admit that I found Warrior Woman to be... unusually interesting... and was terribly disappointed when they killed her off. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to be in my bunk for a bit.

I have a VHS copy of that movie. I found it at a Blockbuster about 20 years ago. Who knew Christopher Lee could sing?
Doc Shadow
Actors mastered many talents back in the day. Or at least gave it their best shot.
Christopher R Taylor
Used to be if you couldn't sing, dance, and ride a horse, you didn't have much future as an actor.

Matt the Bruins
I think Christopher Lee could do just about anything. That retort he made to Peter Jackson about knowing the sound a man makes when he's knifed to death is quite possibly the most badass thing ever said on a movie set. Doc Shadow
Well he was in the SOE during World War II. I had an uncle who was in the OSS and he knew that sound very well too.
