Ninja-Bear
Hello Herophiles, A classic write up for Stretchers who use a full body wrap up is bought as an entangle. With CC, this seems to be a more expensive power since now if you want to have the entangle have the same PD/ED as the character and body you have to buy them up separately. How. Do you guys buy this power? Plus I just realized that iirc the PD/ED of an entangle is resistant by nature so I should be able to throw on a non resistant limitation. Lucius
I'd just use Grab. Lucius Alexander The palindromedary says that's the maneuver, not the villain group
Mister E
I'd just use Grab. Lucius Alexander The palindromedary says that's the maneuver, not the villain group +50 STR (50 ap); Only To Grab (-1/2). (33 cp)
Ninja-Bear
That’s what I’m thinking. Also perhaps extra limbs - so he can coil around the target and still have his hands free.
Ninja-Bear
Also, am I right that entangle is now more expensive in 6th?
Alibear
Entangle is nowhere near as limiting as grabbing someone is... so if I was playing Rubber Johnny I'd want an entangle, with feed back, in my write-up somewhere.

Ninja-Bear
Also, would entangle also have to take a mobile advantage now? Not sure and away from books.
Tech
Giving someone pizza might stop your opponent for awhile. For myself, I'd go with Entangle with Feedback but it's up to the original poster.

Hyper-Man
I went with grab as well with my rookie Reed Richards in the downloads section. HM
Ninja-Bear
My biggest concern about entangle is thinking that the PDED and body should match the character’s.

Mister E
W/ Feedback (-1) the entangler takes the same amount of damage as the Entangle minus the Entangle's defenses (which are resistant) minus again the entangler's defenses. As much as it is the same, the damage the Entangle receives is not exactly mirrored by the entangler's Feedback damage. It is less the entangler's defenses. To match the Feedback damage to the damage to the Entangle, the entangler's defenses would have to be reduced to zero.

mrinku
I really like the idea of using Extra Limbs (limited manipulation) to cover stretching grabs that leave the hands and feet free. Which could include wrapping the arm around someone to pin their arms, while still punching them in the face with the fist of the same arm! Surely Plastic Man has done that at least once! Ninja-Bear
Mrinku that’s how I was looking at buying extra limbs.

This is a case where the naming of the power on the character sheet should be significantly different from the naming of the mechanic in the rulebook.... What would you call this?? Lucius
Because adding STR Minimum means you get to add STR. Right? Right. And using the mechanics (but not special effects) of Telekinesis frees you from the DCV penalty. Lucius Alexander And the palindromedary says that matching the Telekinetic STR to the STR minimum means you basically get your standard STR.
