Doc Shadow
Oh, Heck, all the kids are doing it. Primary Domain: Trickster. Trickster as in Jokes, or Trickster as in Cunning. And if cunning are you as cunning as a fox what was Dean of Cunning at Oxford University but 'as since moved on to a position at the U.N. as Head of Cunning Planning? Cancer
Trickster as in Jokes, or Trickster as in Cunning. And if cunning are you as cunning as a fox what was Dean of Cunning at Oxford University but 'as since moved on to a position at the U.N. as Head of Cunning Planning? It is hard to separate the two, but emphasis is on humor. Tricks are never funny to the one being tricked, but I'm not into irreparable damage to anything but overinflated egos. Besides, I don't think cunning is something any entity should claim as their own ... of if they do, then they need a particularly special and well-observed pratfall. Logan D. Hurricanes
We're off to a great start. Here are the world's creators thus far: Doc Shadow is god of the Skies! Pariah is god of Elemental Earth! Death Tribble is god of War! csyphrett is god of Time! L. Marcus is god of Craftsmanship! Enforcer84 is god of Winter! Clonus is god of Elemental Water! Cancer is the Trickster God! This tells us several important things about our world. It will be a world of some strife with War active. Gods of Time and Winter tell us that we will definitely have seasons and all that implies. Only elemental fire remains without a patron, but its existence and use is heavily implied by Craftsmanship. There will be technology of some sort, but what level remains to be seen. And a Trickster God means absolutely nothing can be taken at face value. (I wondered if anyone would assume the role of the Trickster, sweet.) Feel free to flesh out how your dominion of these domains may play out in the world. Also, if you would like another godly name, let me know. The rest of your Divine Aspects and Gifts may be selected in any order. As a reminder, they are : Geography. Sentient Life. Gift to Civilization. Flora, Fauna, or Ore. (Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral?) Interference. Mythic Monster or Guardian. and Three (3) Secondary Domains / Option Picks. There's still plenty of time for other gods to step in. All are invited!

Logan D. Hurricanes
Air is also missing. Lucius Alexander Would the palindromedary be allowed to play? I was kind of including Skies, but yes, there is a difference should someone come in to take Air. The following is a goddess. Primary Domain: Fertility Excellent! Sociotard
The following is a goddess. Primary Domain: Fertility Ah, there it is. I was waiting to take that one as a secondary domain tomorrow with Death. I had a concept for a dualistic deity. Hmmm, instead . . . is Maturity/Adulthood too close to Wisdom? Concept would be someone you pray to when you're hoping to be accepted as an adult in the world, or when you want your leaders to grow the f**k up. Just asking for now. So many choices available assault
assault
I was considering Death as a secondary for my Fertility goddess. (I don't see any reason why secondaries can't overlap.) Of course that would work best with influence over the seasons as well. But Winter being a separate major deity makes that interesting. Lucius
The following is a goddess. Primary Domain: Fertility Mine too as we seem to have a shortage of declared Goddesses. I was kind of including Skies, but yes, there is a difference should someone come in to take Air. I see your point. So that leaves Fire as the only one of the Four Elements not yet claimed. As for me, my First Deific Aspect will be: Death and Rebirth. The Myth of the First Sacrifice "It is I, who first passed the Dark Gate. When the Shining Ones gathered and said among Ourselves, 'Come, let Us make a World without End!' Craftsman said 'From what can such a thing be made? All I build from the Void, soon to the Void returns.' Sky said 'All We make is as dust in the wind.' Time said 'Lesser things pass away, We Ourselves are all that passes not away.' My Sister, She Who Brings Forth, grieved, For that She wished to bring forth something lasting. I, Lady Death, had words alone with Sage, and We made plans. Alone I spoke with Time, and said 'Make for Me two Moments, Give Me a Moment of Ceasing to Be, and a Moment of Becoming' To My Sister She Who Brings Forth, I gave the Moment of Becoming, Saying 'You will know when to use this and how. Trust Me.' With the Moment of Ceasing to Be in My clenched fist, At the next Council I spoke to the Warrior: 'I have a treasure I might share with You!' 'Show Me' said the Warrior, but I replied 'Nay, it is in My closed hand; open My hand, and I will share.' Mighty is He, and hard He strove to force My hand to open, But what I have taken hold of is held in the grip of Death. In rage He struck Me and demanded of Me, but I said, 'Take the Sword of War and sever Me into pieces, Then will My hand open and You will have a gift, And too all of the Shining Ones will have gifts from Me." He cut, and in that Moment, I Ceased to Be, And from then, the Moment of Ceasing of Be Has rested on the edge of the Sword of War As well as in My right hand. War divided Me, and Sage allotted Me among the Shining Ones, To Sky My breath, to make the world's winds, To Earth My bones and flesh to make stone and soil, To Time and to the Seasons My heartbeat, to measure the cycles, To Water My blood, to make the seas and rivers, To Trickster my tangled hair to weave snares and webs for the unwary, To Sage My eyes, which have seen the Mystery beyond the Dark Gate, To Craftsman a spark of My Life's Fire, to light a forge for making Wonders. To Each was given what was needed to make their portion of the World. She Who Brings Forth, Brought Forth the Moment of Becoming, And I, First among the Dead, again became One of the Deathless. To Go is to Return; a World was made, In which all that dies must be reborn, All that falls, shall rise again. Lucius
Can we assume the existence of Unchosen Deities? i.e. if no one comes along and picks Goddess of Summer, can we assume the world still HAS Summer and a Goddess thereof, to complement Winter? Lucius Alexander God of Palindromedaries Good assumption. However, they will be considered minor deities. Only the gods here are the major powers in the universe.
