There's a kind of dizzy euphoria accompanied by stupid grin... I let out a whoop. The dog thinks I'm crazy. There is also a coinciding fear 'what if I made a mistake?', worse "what if, mistakes or no, folks hate it?" that settles into the pit of the stomach. I find myself muttering, scanning, only to smile again as the ecstasy beats out the agony... and it's not even out yet. The cat is giving me a concerned look. Ah well, no risk, no reward, no mountain top views without the risk of a fall... pick a cliche'. Of course, if no one does like it...
