tkdguy
Re: A Thread for Random Musings Yesterday, after a sleepless night, I had two all-beef hotdogs and lemonade for breakfast at 5 a.m. Not bad, although I still prefer pizza for breakfast. I once ate sushi for breakfast, but that didn't turn out too well. Of course, I overdid it on the wasabi and had a coughing fit. And yes, I sometimes eat cereal as an after-dinner dessert. Enforcer84
Re: A Thread for Random Musings Final Fantasy XII - to some, gaming nirvana; to others, overhype of the century with girlie boy heroes. To me? WOW. the cutscenes are impressive, the actual game scenes are impressive. The world is big, and pretty. The combat....interesting. It's a bit confusing at first and you use almost all of the controller. The story is pretty standard but well executed (IMO) and there's already been one plot twist that caught me off guard. The bad guys have british accents! That's cool. It reminds me a bit (perhaps a bit too much) of Starwars for some reason. The game takes place in Ivalice (from FFtactics Advance) and there are similarities to that game...I gotta say, graphically? No one does it better than Squareeinx. It's Perty. Cancer
Re: A Thread for Random Musings This is the last weekend before the elections! : Only five more days of shameless highly-refined scare drivel and libelous smear attacks. Also, I'm filling the tanks of both my vehicles tomorrow. There've been allegations that gasoline prices in particular are being manipulated to reduce dissatisfaction with the general incumbency. I'm not sure I believe that, but I'm willing to speculate with the ~$70 it's going to take to fill 'em up. And if gas hits $4.00/gallon by Thanksgiving I win big.
