Cancer Posted November 1, 2016 Report Share Posted November 1, 2016 Cosmic rays may be causing glitches in solar-storm monitoring satellite Galactic cosmic rays may be behind a series of glitches experienced by the Deep Space Climate Observatory, which is meant to warn Earth about solar storm eruptions. The satellite has gone offline five times since beginning operations, and scientists are concerned it will fall offline during a significant solar event. It's working.... Logan D.
