Ninja-Bear
Interesting. However what bothers me is that he talka about penetration based on surface area, which is true, then I believe that the shield would transfer more damage due to its wdge than the foot. freakboy6117
I guess that the movie version is slowed down from what it really should be for the impact it delivers . While the surface area does matter the comparison is 12 pounds versus 300 pounds at similar speeds. My no prize answer is that vibranium stores kinetic energy and releases it when the edge impacts thus it's super elastic bounces and it's excessive impact damage. Ninja-Bear
The biggest problem is that the author was basing calculations off a movie as if the bad guy was really hit that hard and flew back that far or the speed of the sield being thrown was also accurately portrayed. Ninja-Bear
Don't get me wrong, I liked the video. : ) I think it would have been neat to figure out how much force Cap woulf have needed ti throw the shield to stick in the car.

Pattern Ghost
Perk: Weapon Mastery +3D6 HA/ +1D6 HKA. That looks like something that belongs in the Powers section in a Supers game. Not that it'd make any difference mechanically, but it baffles my sense of character sheet aesthetics. Perks like that seem to belong more in heroic level games.
