Pariah
It was April the Forty-first, being a quadruple leap year; I was driving in downtown Atlantis. My Barracuda was in the shop, so I was in a rented Stingray, and it was overheating. So I pulled into a Shell station; They said I'd blown a seal. I said, "Fix the dam thing and leave my private life out of it, okay, pal?" While they were doing that, I walked over to a place called the Oyster Bar. A real dive. But I knew the owner; he used to play for the dolphins. I said, "HI GILL!" (You have to yell, he's hard of herring.) Think I had a wet dream Cruisin' through the Gulf stream. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. Wet dream. Gill was also down on his luck. Fact is, he was barely keeping his head below water. I bellied up to the sandbar; He poured the usual: Rusty Snail, hold the grunion, shaken, not stirred. With a peanut butter and jellyfish sandwich on the side, heavy on the mako. I slipped him a fin, on porpoise. I was feeling good; I even dropped a sand dollar in the box for Jerry's Squids- For the halibut. Well, the place was crowded. We were packed in like sardines. They were all there to listen to the big band sounds of Tommy Dorsal. What sole. Tommy was rockin' the place with a very popular tuna, "Salmon chanted Evening" And the stage was surrounded by screaming groupers, Probably there to see the bass player. One of them was this cute little yellowtail, and she was givin' me the eye. So I figured this was my chance for a little fun. You know, piece of Pisces. But she said things I just couldn't fathom. She was too deep, seemed to be under a lot of pressure. Boy, could she drink. She drank like a... She drank a lot. I said, "What's your sign?" She said, "Aquarium." I said, "Great! Let's get tanked!" Think I had a wet dream Cruisin' through the Gulf stream. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. Wet dream. I invited her up to my place for a little midnight bait. I said, "C'mon baby, it'll only take a few minnows." She threw me that same old line: "Not tonight, I got a haddock." And she wasn't kidding, either, cause in came the biggest, meanest looking haddock I'd ever seen come down the pike. He was covered with mussels. He came over to me; he said, "Listen, Shrimp. Don't you come trollin' around here." What a crab. This guy was steamed. I could see the anchor in his eyes. I turned to him and I said, "Abalone! You're just being shellfish." Well, I knew there was going to be trouble, and so did Gill, cause he was already on the phone to the cods. The haddock hits me with a sucker punch. I catch him with a left hook. He eels over. It was a fluke, but there he was, lying on the deck, flat as a mackerel. Kelpless. I said, "Forget the cods, Gill. This guy's going to need a sturgeon. Well, the yellowtail was impressed with the way I landed her boyfriend. She came over to me; she said, "Hey, big boy, you're really a game fish. What's your name?" I said, "Marlin." Think I had a wet dream Cruisin' through the Gulf stream. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. Wet dream. Well, from then on we had a whale of a time. I took her to dinner. I took her to dance. I bought her a bouquet of flounders. And then I went home with her. And what did I get for my trouble? A case of the clams. Think I had a wet dream Cruisin' through the Gulf stream. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. Wet dream.

Sundog
Oh where have you been, my blue eyed son?Where have you been, my darling young one? I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountainsWalked and I've crawled on six crooked highwaysStepped in the middle of seven sad forestsBeen out in front of a dozen dead oceansI've been ten thousand miles in a mouth of a graveyard It's a hard and it's a hard and it's a hard and it's a hardAnd it's a hard rain's a gonna fall Oh what did you see, my blue eyed son? What did you see, my darling young one? I saw a newborn baby with wild wolves around itI saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on itI saw a black branch with blood that kept drippin'I saw a room full of men with their hammers a bleedin'A white ladder all covered with waterI saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all brokenI saw guns and sharp swords in the hands of young children And it's a hard and it's a hard and it's a hard hardAnd it's a hard rain's a gonna fall And what did you hear, my blue eyed son? What did you hear, my darling young one I heard the sound of thunder that roared out a warningHeard the roar of a wave that could drown the whole worldHeard one hundred drummers whose hands were a blazin'Heard ten thousand whisperin' and nobody listenin'Heard one person starve, many people laughin'Heard the song of a poet who died in the gutterHeard the sound of a clown who cried in the alley And it's a hard and it's a hard and it's a hard hard hard hard And it's a hard rain's a gonna fall Oh who you did meet, my blue eyed son?Who did you meet, my darling young one? I met a young child beside a dead ponyI met a white man who walked a black dogI met a young girl whose body was burningA young girl, she gave me a rainbowI met one man who was wounded in loveAnother man who was wounded with hatred And it's a hard and it's a hard and it's a hardAnd it's a hard rain's a gonna fall Oh what'll you do now, my blue eyed son? What'll you do now, my darling young one? I'm goin' back out 'fore the rain starts fallin'Walk to the depths of the deepest black forestWhere people are many and their hands are all emptyWhere pellets of poison are flooding the watersWhere the home in the valley meets the damp dirty prisonWhere the executioner's face is always well hiddenWhere hunger is ugly, where souls are forgottenWhere black is the color, and none is the numberAnd I'll tell it and think it and speak it and breathe itAnd reflect it from the mountains so all souls can see itThen I'll stand in the ocean until I start sinkingBut I'll know my song well before I start singing And it's a hard it's a hard and it's a hardAnd it's a hard rain's a gonna fallAnd it's a hard and it's a hard and it's a hardAnd it's a hard rain's a gonna fallAnd it's a hard and it's a hard and it's a so hardAnd it's a hard rain's a gonna fall

death tribble
Spring was never waiting for us, girl It ran one step ahead As we followed in the dance Between the parted pages and were pressed In love's hot, fevered iron Like a striped pair of pants MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark All the sweet, green icing flowing down Someone left the cake out in the rain I don't think that I can take it 'Cause it took so long to bake it And I'll never have that recipe again Oh no ! I recall the yellow cotton dress Foaming like a wave On the ground around your knees The birds, like tender babies in your hands And the old men playing checkers by the trees MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark All the sweet, green icing flowing down Someone left the cake out in the rain I don't think that I can take it 'Cause it took so long to bake it And I'll never have that recipe again Oh no ! There will be another song for me For I will sing it There will be another dream for me Someone will bring it I will drink the wine while it is warm And never let you catch me looking at the sun And after all the loves of my life After all the loves of my life You'll still be the one I will take my life into my hands and I will use it I will win the worship in their eyes and I will lose it I will have the things that I desire And my passion flow like rivers through the sky And after all the loves of my life Oh, after all the loves of my life I'll be thinking of you And wondering why MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark All the sweet, green icing flowing down Someone left the cake out in the rain I don't think that I can take it 'Cause it took so long to bake it And I'll never have that recipe again Oh no ! There's a way", said the wise old man "A way known by every woman Since the whole rigmarole began” Do I flatter her? I begged, him answer Do I threaten or cajole or plead ? Do I brood or play the gay romancer ? Said he, smiling, "No indeed” “How to handle a woman ? death tribble
We're Knights of the Round Table, We dance when 'ere we're able, We do routines and chorus scenes With footwork impeccable. We dine well here in Camelot, We eat ham and jam and spam a lot. We're Knights of the Round Table, Our shows are formidable, But many times, we're given rhymes That are quite unsingable. We're Opera mad in Camelot, We sing from the diaphragma looooooot. In war we're tough and able, Quite indefatigable, Between our quests we sequin vests, And impersonate Clark Gable. It's a busy life in Camelot, I have to push the pram a lot. tkdguy
death tribble
Cheer up, Brian. You know what they say. Some things in life are bad, They can really make you mad. Other things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristle, Don't grumble, give a whistle ! And this'll help things turn out for the best And Always look on the bright side of life ! Always look on the bright side of life If life seems jolly rotten, There's something you've forgotten! And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing, When you're feeling in the dumps, Don't be silly chumps, Just purse your lips and whistle -- that's the thing ! And always look on the bright side of life ! Come on ! Always look on the bright side of life For life is quite absurd, And death's the final word. You must always face the curtain with a bow ! Forget about your sin -- give the audience a grin, Enjoy it, it's the last chance anyhow ! So always look on the bright side of death ! Just before you draw your terminal breath. Life's a piece of s**t, When you look at it. Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true, You'll see it's all a show, Keep 'em laughing as you go. Just remember that the last laugh is on you ! And always look on the bright side of life Always look on the bright side of life Come on guys, cheer up Always look on the bright side of life Always look on the bright side of life Worse things happen at sea you know Always look on the bright side of life I mean, what have you got to lose ? you know, you come from nothing you're going back to nothing what have you lost ? Nothing ! Always look on the bright side of life tkdguy
