massey
I thought Affleck did a pretty good job as Batman. The movie sucked, but Affleck was certainly not the worst part of that. I did, however, mock the decision to cast him before I saw the film. I've never seen a Twilight movie, and don't think I've ever seen Pattinson in anything. I could probably pass him on the street without recognizing him. But sometimes weird casting decisions work out. And then sometimes you get Nick Cage Superman, where it's so obviously wrong that you want to kick a producer in the crotch.
Christopher R Taylor
Pattinson was not bad in Harry Potter, but it was a pretty small role and he was kind of bland. I've not seen any of Twilight.
Spence
14 hours ago, Christopher R Taylor said: Leto did okay as Joker, he's just not my idea of the character (or the source material). He's probably the right joker for a younger generation though Yes, I felt that way too. Suicide Squad was another one that the actors did a good job with what they were handed, but that wasn't even close to the actual characters. Harley Quinn is a prime example of how bad things can go. They took a fantastic character and turned it into a grunge errr... the boards don't allow the needed descriptors. I guess the need to be "edgy" and "grimdark" is more important than what made the character in the first place.
zslane
Here are my thoughts on this poster image: 1. Gal Gadot looks stunningly gorgeous as usual. Just look at that hair! 2. I kinda feel like someone at WB/DC saw the Thor: Ragnarok poster and said, "Hey, look how well-received Marvel's super-colorful poster for their mythological god hero's latest film was, let's do that for ours!" 3. She's missing her iconic Antiope-WW headband, something I just don't think Diana would ever forget to put on while "in costume". 4. Why is she wearing full-body armor? Diana is no ordinary Amazon, she's a demi-god. She doesn't need armor any more than Superman does. She didn't need/wear full-body armor when she fought Ares, Doomsday, or Steppenwolf. This makes no sense to me. (And yes, I know some recent comic book stories had her in armor, but this movie won't, as far as I know, embed her in the same context as those comic stories.) Grailknight
Maybe it's a shout out to all the 80's costumes. This movie is also a period piece.
Starlord
REALLY don't like it. Looks gaudy and tacky. I hope she's not in that the whole movie. I prefer various versions of her red, white and blue costumes. Bazza
Grailknight
And late 70's early 80's costumes were gaudy and tacky. They may have hit their mark even if we wish they hadn't fired the shot.
slikmar
Regarding SS, I actually liked Harley. She was very much the Harley that has been in the comics the last 5-6 years or so, as she separates herself from the Joker. I hated that Joker. mattingly

But comics went out of print years ago....
Christopher R Taylor
That's unrecognizable as Wonder Woman, so I hope its just some weird side costume she gets handed to wear instead of her real duds. massey and Pattern Ghost
Lord Liaden
If this movie was set in the 1960s, I'd say that was Diana seen through an acid trip.
Old Man
If that movie was set in the seventies that costume wouldn't be weird at all.
dmjalund
are we sure this isn't a Dazzler the Movie poster accidentally misnamed?
zslane
No, Dazzler is a blond.
Greywind
That's a George Perez armor.

Lord Liaden
It also gives her a little more Amazonian bulk.
slikmar
It also really looks like her head is photoshopped in, badly as it looks to big.
slikmar
On a side thing, I finished catching up on Arrow today, did I see that Batwoman is now coming to the CW?
Lord Liaden
She is. And her first trailer has been drawing a lot of criticism, particularly for certain lines.
Pattern Ghost
Yeah, there's getting on a soapbox, then there's whacking the audience over the head with a soapbox. Aside from a couple of cringe-worthy lines, it looks decent though. Spence, Christopher R Taylor and Hermit
slikmar
I had figured they were just moving the one from the streaming service over. Is that not true? I was under the impression it had already aired. Course, wasn't really paying attention as I tend to not do streaming.
Pattern Ghost
CW Seed has a cartoon Batwoman show. This one's live action. First appearance for her was in the last Arrowverse crossover.
Iuz the Evil
There is so much material available to option for television and movies, and they went with Batwoman? Okay.
