I must admit I was surprised by your short and concise answer to my original question. I got over it though, as I realized it was straight literal judgement on your behalf that closed any "Steve Long said it was ok!" doors. Life is better when it is less complicated is it not? Now on to my follow up question/statement.
If I am understanding the rules as written correctly, Endurance cost is 8 for an 8d6 EB with +1/2 Variable Advantage with an active cost of 80?
It seems to me that it should be 6 endurance though. Isn't the high Character Point cost of the advantage penalty enough? A player can buy a VPP with "Limited to Blasts" modifier and get a whole lot more utility for slightly more character points and not have to pay endurance on the total active points of the pool/control. I appreciated your closing statement to my original post. It is my campaign and I can rule as I see it.
