megaplayboy
Whose neck will Superman be forced to break this time? Only Zach Snyder knows.
Hermit
Lord, I hope this isn't the studios already taking the wrong message from Deadpool. Oy.
death tribble
I saw the Turkish Airlines "ads" featuring Gotham and Metropolis, then read an article that says the two cities are a mere ten miles apart, separated by a long bridge across a bay. That explains the rivalry, like Raiders/49ers. This is a new trend where the films advertise a third party instead of the stuff being in the movie and being indirectly mentioned. It is an interesting development.
NuSoardGraphite
Well...fight scenes look good. Its Zack Snyder. His fight scenes ALWAYS look good. Look at Watchmen. Though brief, the few fight scens featured in it are freaking brilliant. Action scenes are his grewtest strength. I see a lot of complaints about Man of Steel, not a single one of them were ever about the fight scenes. The question here has always been will he get the characters right and will the story be good? wcw43921
Quite frankly, I like the look on the right better. Why do people have such a problem with the trunks, anyway?
Lord Liaden
Perhaps due to the long parade of "wearing his underwear on the outside" jokes. To be fair, Henry Cavill's costume colors look brighter and more vibrant in shots from the upcoming BvS than they did in MoS. That is, when he isn't being shown at night in the rain. Which is a lot. Starlord
I like the trunks...they are there to break up the colors and work well in a 2D comic or animation...probably not needed for live action (although it matches his current costume in the comics). Although, from a functionality perspective, if you're gonna get rid of the trunks then the cape should go as well.

Hermit
We find the strangest things to argue about. So are you a good hearted Pro-Cape person, or of the vile Cult of Edna with her fascist "no capes" policy?
Starlord
So are you a good hearted Pro-Cape person, or of the vile Cult of Edna with her fascist "no capes" policy? It should be a case by case basis. For example, Batman utilizes his cape for various purposes and Superman isn't really bothered if his cape pulls him into a jet engine. BoloOfEarth
It should be a case by case basis. Don't you mean a cape by cape basis?
zslane
Muted costume colors are the law in Hollywood, unless the movie is a comedy. Only Spider-Man is allowed to have bright red and blue, though I have no idea how he got immunity from the costume laws.

For example, Batman utilizes his cape for various purposes and Superman isn't really bothered if his cape pulls him into a jet engine. Batman should be anti cape posterboy. The fact that he hasn't been hung from his by any number of his better foes is testament that it's really only the mentally challenged and tiny designers who suffer with capes.
