Scott Ruggels
I had always thought of Namor as Asian, same with Northstar. Matt the Bruins
Christopher R Taylor
I could see both of the Twins played by Asians, totally. I never liked Puck though, seemed like a cheesy character. Everyone else in Alpha Flight was pretty cool but Puck just didn't work

It opens on July 9th here in the states. So, with that time travel thing that you Aussies do, you can see it 2 days before us. 😒 Christopher R Taylor

If you liked the GOTGs, I recommend Thor Ragnarok. If you haven't seen the previous movies, you'll miss an in-joke or two, but for the most part it's standalone. I remember a part where Thor is trying to unlock a password with the Strongest Avenger, but it's really the Hulk's password CES

(I'd say it's almost as much Gamora's story as Thanos'.)
Lord Liaden
Thanos is clearly the protagonist and central character of Infinity War, but there are three other substantial story lines woven in: Gamora's, Thor's, and Vision and Wanda's. Bazza
I’d also add Tony/Stephen/Peter’s as well.
Lord Liaden
I see what you're saying, and I guess I should have said, "character arcs" rather than "story lines." We follow the actions of those characters, but as characters they aren't really advanced in the ways the ones I mentioned are. Although Tony's certainly is in Endgame. Christopher R Taylor
Kind of nice to see them do more with the Ten Rings. First scene should have the actual Mandarin show up and brutally murder Trevor Slattery.

DoctorImpossible
I assumed that the point of his appearance in the Marvel short about breaking him out of the minimum security prison (with guest star Justin Hammer cameo) was that real Mandarin has ordered him to be captured so that Trevor Slattery can be the next host for the Mandarin's possession. Like, since he had been public about supposedly being the Mandarin, the actual Mandarin was giving him a "cruel irony" punishment. (Incidentally allowing Marvel to bring back Ben Kingsley after wasting him as a kind of glorified cameo for the whole Iron Man 3 thing. It was also kind of a waste of Iron Man 3. If they had just admitted from the outset that it was the Extremis guys who were the villains and that the plot was more of a delve into Tony's PTS, they'd have been much better off.) zslane
I liked the Shang Chi character as a kid growing up in the '70s (because let's face it, who didn't love Bruce Lee when they were kids in the '70s), but I am only slightly more interested in this movie than the Black Widow movie, which isn't really saying much. Pattern Ghost
Just watched the third episode of Loki. What's with Disney+ Loki having such a hard time fighting humans? He was tossing Cap around like a rag doll in Avengers, yet repeatedly gets out-muscled by normals in his own series. I was thinking the TVA troops were possibly enhanced, but there have been too many other fights to ignore.
Matt the Bruins
I think the writers have pigeonholed him into the "sneaky trickster" role, and forgotten that he's a sneaky trickster god who's able to fight lengthy-if-losing battles against Thor and survive a beatdown from the Hulk with just the wind knocked out of him.
Christopher R Taylor
I think "Loki being beat up" is the gag line for the entire show. Ha ha look at how he gets beaten up and is weak
