zslane
Good question. What is the scope of the Infinity Gauntlet? Is it limited to (main) universe scope? Or does it have full continuity (i.e., multiverse) scope? Many folks are speculating that Scott Lang survived the "decimation" (hate that term as used here) because he was in the quantum realm at the time, but we don't really know if that had anything to do with it at all. Maybe he was just one of the 50% that was "selected" for survival, as it were.
Bazza
What's interesting is that Loki is listed amongst the fallen. He is the sole member of that grouch who wasn't "dusted". When the others come back, will Loki be amongst them?

Starlord
I believe I read a Feige interview that discussed Loki's longevity and the number of adventures he's probably had before he died so the show might go that direction. It might be fun to see what he was up to in, say, the 12th century.

In the JL/Avengers cross over, Darkseid got his hands on the infinity gauntlet and in that one, it was pretty useless to him because it only had power over one universe, and they were in the DC one. Not sure if that's Canon or not

Not sure if that's Canon or not The crossovers between different companies have never been canon for either Marvel or DC to the best of my knowledge. Though that may have changed for DC with the characters of the couple of the comic companies they later bought out and integrated into the DC universe. zslane
That would carry a lot more weight had someone in the movie told Thor to aim for the head, and yet he forgot to (or chose not to) do so in the heat of battle. Starlord knew the plan and consciously chose to deviate from it at the most crucial moment possible. Not even remotely the same as Thor's "miscalculation". Bazza
Starlord didn't give the enemy any of the Infinity Stones. Loki did. Strange did. #notEntirelyToBlame
zslane
I guess another way to look at it is that Starlord did exactly what he needed to do--without knowing it--in order for that 1 in 14 million outcomes to be the outcome. And assuming that 1 outcome is the one that actually happened (is happening?), one could argue that everyone did their part, including Thor at the end.
