Old Man
I actually have to say that I found none of the women on B5 to be unusually attractive. They're all pretty enough but not so much that it was why I made an effort to watch the show. Same goes for STTNG and DS9 and Voyager. Either BSG was better for eye candy purposes. Spence
For me it wasn't the eye candy. I was liking a good scifi series with a great story. For its time B5 was hands down the best story arc. They had some bumps with acting and the production value. But overall the stories were fantastic. The new BSG started out strong and then lost itself when it went all gushy and metaphysical. It started as a must see that I anticipated each week and quickly became meh, I only finished it when it went to DVD. For Star Trek I enjoyed them in the following order (best to worst): DS9, STTNG, TOS, ENT, VOY.
Old Man
Ah, but which DS9? Pre-Dominion War or Dominion War?
Greywind
I want to see JMS's original story, as it was planned, without the departure of actors or producers saying how they want things to be. He needs to write it as a series of novels.
Spence
Ah, but which DS9? Pre-Dominion War or Dominion War? I actually enjoyed both. While the tone changed with the war, the series was much more appealing to me altogether. Not as squeaky clean as TNG and my major issues with VOY and ENT was they could seemed unable to make up their minds how the Captains should act. Janeway's personality swung back and forth like she had multiple personality disorder and the ENT captain seemed to corner the market on terrified wimp. I have no issue with the actors and really believe they could have presented much better characters if allowed, but there it is.
