Cassandra
For those who've played or seen Injustice: Gods Among Us, Batman can defeat Superman. In the Champions system, with both characters built on the same number of points, can the Dark Knight truly defeat the Man of Steel?
Greywind
Why do the characters need to be built on the same number of points? Batman has defeated Superman on a number of occasions. Usually involving Kryptonite.
Hyper-Man
With time to plan Batman can defeat almost anyone. He can go all 'Tony Stark' and build Bat-Armor to take on the ol' boyscout with no special 'K' needed. He just chooses not to limit himself to that all the time. Ninja-Bear
Cassandra as you know, its not always how many points you have, but what you spend them on. (Or what you're allowed to grt away with). ; ) Greywind afasik, a key concept of Champions has always been equal points for characters-well pcs anyways. Greywind
For a given play-group, yes. Relative point parity. This goes back to building a relativistic model of a given character, though. And those, if you're being honest about it, never even come reasonably close to one-another. Lord Liaden
If by "defeat" you mean in a straight fight, I don't think think there's anything Batman could build that could overcome Superman. We've seen the Bat-powered-armor scenario in several stories over the years, in comics and animation. Bats is always clearly overmatched. Batman can and has beaten Superman using Kryptonite. So has Lex Luthor. In the right circumstances, anyone can beat Superman using Kryptonite. Batman would make certain his circumstances were right, though. If by "defeat" you mean that Batman could outwit or out-maneuver Superman, so Supes can't do or get what he wants, I'm certain Batman can do that. It wouldn't be easy -- Supes is pretty sharp. But Bats just needs time to develop one of his ironclad plans.

Nothere
To go off topic for a moment. A going to Paris verus BeeMan comic would rule.
Kraven Kor
Depends on who writes the script, basically. Anyone can defeat Supes, with some Kryptonite, which is apparently common enough.
