Roter Baron
Hi guys, I just heard about the old Champions Boxed Set. According you my information there was a Campaign Book included. Does anyone know anything about this campaign book. Is it identical to the campaign that was later added to the 3rd edition softcover (Trouble at Tanghal Tower etc) or was it something different all together? So, anyone know anything about it (I mean if not on this board then where else)?

What that the edition with the powder blue cover that looked like the 3e book or the one with the Grey Scale book that looked like the 1e book? Because the Earlier Edition of the Boxed set with the grey scale cover only came with "Viper's Nest" and a cool playmap 4 corners in a small town. The Boxed edition of 3e (Powderblue cover) should have had the same stuff as the Perfect Bound edition.
Cassandra
The original rules book was grey, with a picture of a hero (Champion) fighting an unnamed villain. The back pages of the book had a number of written up characters including Starburst, Crusader, Ogre, Brick, Howler, Cheshire Cat, Icicle, and Mechanon. There was a second adventure book without a cover featuring VIPER, which included write ups for VIPER Nest Leader and Agents, and UNTIL Defender and Investigator Agents. Roter Baron
The I mean box has the same cover as the 3rd Edition (flying unnamed hero looking at the buyer). The Campaign Book feature a VIPER agent charging into the direction of the viewer. I'm interested in information on the campaign book. Maybe it is just the second half of the sofcover-release of the 3rd edition. Or is there more in it?
IndianaJoe3
I have the 2e boxed set. It came with the 4-corners map and, "Viper's Nest" adventure. I also have the GM Screen (sold separately) and The Island of Doctor Destroyer. I don't remember if that was included or separate, although I don't remember purchasing it. IIRC the Island of Dr D came with the GM's Screen (3e).
Greywind
The Island of Dr. Destroyer was a stand-alone module. I've got it. Never bought any screens until I got the Resource Kit.
Cassandra
I forgot about the Island of Dr. Destroyer. They reused the island for Sanctuary.

There was a Dr D adventure that I got with the 3e GM's screen. I'll dig it out later and see what it was.
Old Man
I miss that 4-corners map. We played so many fights on it that I used to have it memorized, to the point where I knew how many hexes it was from this door to that lamppost, and so on. I wonder where I could get a copy. Greywind
I've got two. It was reissued with the Resource Kit, iirc.
