At minimum you should make it large enough to hold the die without it needing to overlap the edges (so about 1/2 inch I'd say at a guess, maybe slightly more) but it depends on what you are wanting to use the hex graph for. The larger the hex's, the less problems you will have (accidentally moving dice for example) but the area you will be able to "represent" will be much smaller. Also note that 6E no longer basis things on "hexes". You can still use them if you choose of course. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
